I don't think there will be another Alola game this generation because they announced Marshadow sooner than what they used to do with other mythical Pokemon such as Hoopa. It basically means that Marshadow will be released to the Sun and Moon games. Now since they ran out of mythical Pokemon to distribute for the rest of the generation, they could focus on a remake of a game that basically had more than two mythical Pokemon to help cover the rest of the generation. That means that a Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remake could actually help cover the rest of the generation with needed mythical Pokemon since there are 5 (including Phione) of them, in fact they can actually use two of them to be caught normally in a post game-like story similar to the Delta Episode, since they would only need two(three?) to cover the rest of the generation. As for what system, it is much more fitting for the 3DS since Pokemon Diamond and Pearl were the first main series Pokemon games to be on a double screen system, I think they should be the last remakes on the 3DS as well.

As for Red and Blue(Green), I don't think they will get another remake because the original games is already available on the eShop, availability is one of the major reasons why a remake is made, not compatibility. Pokemon Diamond and Pearl (also Platinum) aren't easily available anymore (not new copies anyway). When the DS was out, Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald were still fairly obtainable, but when the 3DS came out, they were not available anymore.

I kind of feel like Diamond and Pearl Remakes would come after Generation 8 games, which is already far away. Then again, I have no idea what Game Freak would do. They like being unpredictable.

to be honest I would legit be shocked if diamond and pearl remakes were next before gen 8 or some kinda sun and moon sequel tbh
as for switch I don"t know yet
I can see a sun and moon 2 for 3ds and maybe the switch next time I just cant see the switch having a pokemon game yet
and when we do get a pokemon game for switch if we do it would probably be a brand new game rather than a remake game because they never start off with a remake game on a new console.
I still think that gen 7 is going to be the shortest generation ever.
it mayjust be me but its always more exciting to get a new genration then a remake to something I already played. I mean if its a remaked of dp cool , but I like when the new games are a generation I haven't played yet.

Here I am again, as you always see me in these kinds of videos. I want to give my opinion and critic against your stuff.
Firstly, like I mentioned, I really do believe a dp remake would be out, it would make sense if and only IF we go by the standard timeline. Like I mentioned at least 6 times in your videos, dp has way too many stuff that is either criticized or lacking.
1. Would be the game being legendary based heavily, most can only be obtained via events and this not favorable to majority of countries out there. I believe that if all legendary of dp can be incorporated into this dp remakes, than I don't see why not as it boost market value
2. Dp storyline is just fairly decent. The keyword is "fairly". Like I mentioned before, I am a fan, huge fan, but I never really liked the way dp brings out the story. I agree that it is certainly much better than some old game/remakes. Hence i hope for some improvement
3. I want to add on to the additional features. The battle frontier should be incorporated into the game as, every generation tends to have a "new" style of battle arena. I would suggest either the platinum or the hoenn. But it would be nice to have the hoenn one as dp is no doubt surrounded by many islands. Hence the battle resort/island can be used for something else. A revamp and slight modification would be fine
4. Pokemon stars might be a thing. It's just I don't compel with it. Mainly because it's not even 50% true that a game like this could happen. It's just speculation and completely baseless. No evidence whatsoever. However, thru more than likely "credible" sources. Stars appears to be sequels. Why so? Few things to keep in mind
Marshadow isn't well developed at this point. Meaning that marshadow is most likely gonna have a "big" role. Same for Necrozma, they are so undeveloped and mysterious. It's best that they be explained in a sequel.

While I enjoyed the video, I would want to say that 1 and 2 could be merged together as a point, they correlate as both kinda mean the same thing. Another thing that I want to point out is the fact that devices trends keep showing. Not that I disagree, but I feel that Pokemon is a 'dual' screen game. It would be highly unlikely and unfavourable to fans to switch to a really expensive device right away just to play a game. It logically make sense doesn't it?

You guys are falsely assuming that because the Switch can't play 3DS games that it wouldn't be cross compatible with them. It uses the same technology to communicate with switch wirelessly, that means it's only an issue of software, and unless pokemon are built vastly different between this generation and the next, they could make them compatible through an update to Sun and Moon or even just an update to Pokebank.
