Chad just sold us an RT, now he is selling another BMW, posing as a journalist. Nice. Much needed.

Really like the look of this and the rs version. Both have luggage options which the s1000r doesn’t . Could be a great sports tourer.

How does it compare to the F900R? Is the 900 more flickable?

So not much info on how it rides. I had (have as I have not got my deposit back yet) one of these on order with options price was £21k. I wanted a 1390 R Evo but just as I was ordering KTM closed the factory again. But as they have now been bailed out for the foreseeable future I have brought one and collect this Friday. I think I would have been disappointed with the R1300R as although I am old I still want to be reminded that I am alive every now and then. Maybe in 5 years!

I thought the new RT had convinced me, but it turns out I was wrong, this is the one!

I am R1200R owner, the reason why i choose R series is that it is just in between S1000R and RT series, with Top Box and Pannier attached, it could be a touring bike and the seat is comfortable for the passenger behind, while Top Box and Pannier are not installed, it's a good looking NK for a solo riding, fast and powerful enough, but not as aggressive as S1000R
It's like a perfect compromise between sporty and touring for a father

Looks great. I’d like to give it a go. I’m an R9T fan and I think this might just have overtaken the R12nineT in desirability because it’s got a bit of flair that the R9T range is gradually losing.

The GS/GSA are popular and justify their price, to many, as they are a multi-role bike. This is an expensive “roadster” with limited versatility and must surely struggle to sell? It does look good but if I’m going to have a “roadster” I’ll take the R129T.

Maybe ergos and demographics will be the main factor in sales. It doesn’t really give off the young vibe, and it’s priced out of their range anyway. Love the black with red livery. Rrrrrr. 😂. Nice viddy Chadly. Keep it up. 👍🤪🏳️‍🌈

As a current owner of an R1200R (LC) I like the makeover however realistically, I would be tempted with a new GS now that it has the lowering system as I use mine for long rides and touring

Love the look of it, more than enough performance for the street for me
