That poor dad, I feel for him. He's so affected by his young son's death. I hope he don't blame himself. It was a freak accident.
ОтветитьI do feel heart broken for the parents
but allowing your 7 year old to shoot a gun
And to kill animals
There are so many other things you can do with your child to bond with them
But I am disgusted at the fact he was around guns in the first place
And the fact that he was taught to shoot and kill innocent animals
Trey rest in peace🍀🌹🌿🧡❗️
ОтветитьWe Europeans don't see the necessity of teaching children to shot at all. What were kids doing on the railroad tracks with weapons?
ОтветитьKarma?
ОтветитьMr. Cooley, don't feel guilty for waking your son to go with you. It's not your fault he died. It's his destiny. Many people shot another 1meter away face to face yet they miss. But the person who fired the gun that killed your son was not even aware that the bullet who killed Trey came from his gun. It's Trey's fate. Nobody wants that to happen.
ОтветитьI felt so sad for the father when he started sobbing ,I couldn’t control I cried too with him ,he lost a son and who wax his best friend too💔💔💔
ОтветитьIs Butch Cooley still alive today? And his wife?
ОтветитьHow horrible, for the father. This must be the worst. God bless him and the poor boy. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Ответитьtrey was treated at the same hospital jfk went to after his assasination
Ответитьso who killed the boy?
ОтветитьThis video is one of the saddest videos I've ever seen in my life. Rest in peace angel 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Ответитьif thats not being in the wrong place at the wrong time i dont know what is hed be alive if he slept in that day too
ОтветитьWhy is it always guns and knives are what most of this parents prefer to give their children as gifts and bonding tools! They bring only death and regrets!
ОтветитьGuns are not a good hobby.
ОтветитьOh my gosh, what an absolute tragedy. Can you just imagine how that poor dad feels??
Ответитьi was 10 years old
ОтветитьI remember watching this episode in 2002 when I was about 12 years old
ОтветитьHad to watch this for homework for an 8th grade forensic sciences class.
ОтветитьMy heart goes out to the coolie family… god bless you all… so so sad
ОтветитьIm sorry but it is sick to me that he started shooting when he was seven. How can a child which still doesnt know how to multiply operate a gun ot a rifle??? A weapon that can kill
Ответить💔
ОтветитьGuns should only be carried by police or army. I love America but the gun culture there i will never understand. It is not civilised. Never go to a shooting club.
Ответитьwhat a very sad story. you can tell how distraught the dad is. but the fact that the kid knew how to shoot at 7, and killed his first deer at 8, to me, is incredibly disturbing, and this is why there is such a gun problem in the states. as someone else said, find another way of bonding with your son
ОтветитьWILL THESE MORONS EVER LEARN? MORE INNOCENT FOLK DIE FROM LEGAL GUNS THAN ANY OTHER REASON. WHO GIVES THEIR SON A RIFLE TO FIRE AT 7YR OLD? I KNOW AT 7, EVEN AS A TEEN I WOULDNT TOUCH A GUN, DAD. FORCING ME OR NOT. HIS DAD NOT GIVEN PRISON JUST SHOWS U HOW INCIMPETENT THEY ARE WITH GU,NS. , HE NEVER SAW PRISON BECAUSE HE WAS A COP. BAN GUNS. NO COUNTRY IS AS RECKLESS WITH GUNS THAT U.S
ОтветитьITS YOUR FAULT DAD.. TEACHING HIS SON TO KILL ANIIMALS AT 7.WAKING HIM TO GO LEARN TO KILL AT 7. DONT PLAY VICTIM DAD. ITS YOUR FAULT
ОтветитьI am sure that God will let the son meet his father and live together again in heaven. 🙏🏼
ОтветитьShot his first buck at nine his dad says......what goes around............xxxxxxxxx
ОтветитьShooting and fishing are very bad hobbies . Person who learn to shoot wont fire at flowers.
ОтветитьI feel sorry for the deer that didn’t deserve to die
ОтветитьI want a female narator
ОтветитьI noticed the guy testing the gun is right handed is it reversed for a left handed person
ОтветитьWhat is the role of forensic evidence in solving the case? Any can answer this question plss
ОтветитьI watched this documentary in the early 90s as a 11 or 12 year old. Cant believe i found it on tiktok and managed to watch again as an adult who understands ballistic and physics better.
I feel for his family and him. Im commenting before watching it. Damn me as a child remember this.
My deepest condolences to this family from even back then.
This case although im a child at the time got me thinking.
I watched it during british 6 weeks holiday where i was the only person watching the documentary in the house and everyone else playing golf in the garden.
Incredibly sad.
ОтветитьTragic irony
If his dad hadn't woken him that morning he wouldn't have gone to the range
If the shooter hadn't missed
If trey hadn't been seated where he was
SO MANY THINGS COULD HAVE BEEN DONE DIFFERENT
REST IN PEACE TREY COOLEY FATE CAN BE SO CRUEL SOMETIMES
I watched this episode with my father about 28 years ago. We were both shocked to see such a detailed investigation then. I lost my father a couple of years ago. Watching this again brings back some old memories. 😞
ОтветитьThat is one of the worst, most horrifying scenarios I have ever seen. Who thought it was a good idea to have ranges FACING EACH OTHER?
And they had evidence that bullets were escaping the range. Kids are on those ranges. Someone should have gone to jail for that kind of negligence.
One ofThe most unfortunates persons on earth in 20th century . Beyond tragedy . The trajectory of the bullet was 1 on million . Luck conspired against him
Ответитьthe dad's fault. he should blame himself. why would you take your child to a place like that???
ОтветитьWatching this episode again after nearly 25 years later, last time I watched this on a black and white TV set
ОтветитьDont play with guns, they are never safe
ОтветитьThis makes me have a strong belief that death is inevitable, people usually say, they could have avoided this and that, but for that bullet to change direction like that nooo...How we die and the time is the way we are meant to. So sad rest in peace angel. 😢 until i saw this, we usually say if we didn't take my dad to the hospital, we took him, when he was sick. He might be alive today.
ОтветитьHe feels guilty for having woken his son up to make him watch , I'm not sure why the boy wasn't involved. I understand the show got a lot if it's info from police and lawyers from the civil trial which many say exaggerated the "findings" at the range. I tried to find out if the shooter had actually cast his own projectiles (I could not) but did apply his own gas ring. You can say what you want about the range, the shooter's modification whether you're pro or anti gun...that bullet had Leland Cooley's name on it.
ОтветитьThe probability of that boy being hit by that bullet is so infinitesimally small. I might have to behind considering multiple dimensions. How could that be?
Ответитьand people say there is no god
ОтветитьI remember watching this 27 years ago on discovery channel as a kid in Mumbai India 😁 id come back from school and it was this followed by scooby doo on carntoon network 😅
ОтветитьI watched this many times, of the most rare story with scientific explanation of what really had happened
Ответитьif only some more people had guns, then this could have all have been prevented.
Ответить
