My daughter wants to try a Woobles kit. She doesn't crochet but is interested in amigurumis because her kids would love them. I have wanted to buy her a kit, but whenever I look at them, I can't help but feel I'm being price gouged. I think they were smart to sell their yarn. I can't imagine you use much yarn, so maybe you can make a few with one skein?

Wobbles doesn't allow coupons to be used on their overpriced kits either. I ended up just watching videos until I finally got it. I'm now trying to make my first blanket. I started with amigurumi.

However, the price points on the yarn and kit are not reasonable.

The yarn is pretty. I like that Coty said that the wobbles are over priced. That is one of the things y'all do is forwarn us about the price of stuff and things like the scanning bar. Creative Grandma pointed out that it would not be wise for someone to buy if they didn't have a phone to scan it. Thank y'all so much for giving us a warning. Did like the magazine and the price wasn't that bad, because of the amount of stuff it had.

It doesn't matter if they are prestarted, if there is no pattern in the kit it is not a complete kit.

I have a few of the Woobles, it's how I could finally understand crochet. I use my computer to watch the videos, I also download and print the PDF of the instructions. I just wish they would sell the patterns without the kits.

There is a Woobles Book with patterns you can use the Easy Peasy yarn with. Also each kit comes with a step by step video instructions for left or right handers and you can also download the pdf instructions and print them out.

164 yds for $12.99….ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! The kits are over priced…why would you expect anything more with their yarn!!! This is what is helping to drive up the cost of yarn…if people accept that price and buy it, then others will do the same. We’re already seeing smaller yardage for higher prices…shrinkflation!!! I think the kits and the yarn are overpriced. I am not interested in them. I think all you need is worsted weight yarn, a crochet hook , and a you tube video .

I've been crocheting for 42 years. My grandma taught me a couple of stitches when I was 12. I spent years making things with just those stitches, but always had trouble learning new stitches. Reading patterns looked like a foreign language.

A couple of years ago I bought a Woobles kit because it looked cute and fun. They come with step-by-step videos that are broken up so you can easily replay them over and over (in case you need to see each step a few times). These videos are accessible using your phone or computer. They also have a .pdf of the written pattern you can download and print out. They also teach you how to read crochet patterns with a visual that really helped me to finally understand it. I believe they also have a phone number that you can call to speak to someone who can help you if you need it. The owners are a husband and wife team that started it from their home during the pandemic. The licensed kits (Snoopy, Hello kitty, etc.) cost more because they have to pay licensing fees. Those skeins of Woobles yarn are available on Amazon for $11.99 each. The texture of the yarn was designed to increase stitch definition so it'll be easier for a person who is new to crochet to learn.

Buying their kit helped me learn something that has really opened up my world of crochet. So it was worth every penny to me.

I've heard you guys ask about it in several videos, so I thought I would answer a few questions. I hope this info helps you and your subscribers!

The Woobles kits and yarns are quite expensive, especially being based in America. It really wouldn't interest me. 🩷🧶

The Woobles has step by step video instructions for each kit. You can choose right or left hand videos. You can also download pdf written instructions. I was able to finally learn how to crochet with these kits. The yarn was created for beginners it is very easy to see the stitches. If your not a beginner to crochet Woobles are not for you. People also collect them and the hooks. Some people love them and do not mind the price. To each their own.

The best part of this video was hearing you laugh at the yarn names. You are so cute, Glenda! 🥰

I learned from another video that this yarn is designed for amigarumi. It has great stitch definition and doesn’t split. It’s great for beginners. The videos are geared to beginners.

Not worth it. It wears over time and the inside of each color is white. Plus, I don’t think it can be washed. Yuck!

At least you have a Joann’s to go to. My local Joann’s is closing soon and is not getting anything else new. Now I don’t have anywhere to go yarn shopping. Our local Walmart has yarn but very little. It is half of one side of an aisle and most of the time that is not even stocked.

The kits are cute. I bought a couple of kits to help teach my kids to crochet. They are expensive, for sure. It includes everything you need for that particular amigurumi, including a crochet hook, stitch markers, polyfill stuffing, yarn, and a tapestry needle. They start the magic circle for you and mark the first couple of stitches with stitch markers to help a total beginner know what they're looking at. The video instructions are very detailed and excruciatingly SLOW for anyone else with any experience. Personally, I already have all the supplies except the pattern & that particular yarn, so it's not really worth it for me to spend that much, but one of my kids enjoyed it. My husband did it with her to motivate her, so he made a blue narwhal & hers is rainbow. A good bonding experience for them!

Woobles have always been overpriced! I have not nor will I ever buy it.

I think these kits are a joke to charge that much money. Even if they were giving 50% to charity it us still too much money! They aren't fooling us who have been crocheting for a while.
