Rack mounted gaming PC was a great decision!

The new setup looks good! I know the hard work is already done, but I can't recommend the use of RackStuds over standard cage nuts enough, at least for the stuff that's not super heavy (though I think they are technically rated for a high amount of weight). I have my PDUs, rack shelves, switch, etc. all mounted using RackStuds and only my servers themselves are mounted using the provided hardware/arms and cage nuts.

I have vivo's 25u rack and it's pretty good for the price, I was expecting it to be kind of jank but it honestly isn't. Got some rackstuds to try out when I got it and also fell in love with those. Now I just need the chassis for my new proxmox server to get it racked and start saving up to rebuild my NAS later this year!

Looks identical to the star tech open racks. I started with StarTechs 15u open rack, then the 25u and now the 32u enclosed cabinet.

Nice open-air setup. For me, open-air racks would not work because I want the physical security. My home lab is in the basement so I put them in a 42U rack cabinet and then locked it because when my friends and their kids visit us, I know my equipment will be safe.

Vivo! Yep, I have put 8 of their 25U racks into businesses as StarTech just got too expensive and the Vivo's are near the same thing for almost half the cost.

Looks like it's solid Hardware & Screws. Guess you could just replace the vertical Struts with taller ones and 'grow' the Rack if need would be

random question: what kind of desk is that what you call your "workbench" ? I assume it's adjustable in height, but not electrical? do you have a link to that ?
