Awesome. You've just summed up my first day of class in one 10 minute video. :) This will make a perfect supplement.
ОтветитьBeautiful analysis of an amazing work of art.
ОтветитьExcellent! Thank you
ОтветитьWonderful analysis. Thank you.
ОтветитьI wish my Prof was this good!
Ответитьcould this be used as a topic for propoganda
ОтветитьThat's a very polished analysis. Helped me a lot in my studies for tomorrow art exam.
Ответитьamazing analysis, this will help me so much in my studies for my essay tomorrow.
ОтветитьWhen watching this video I'm reminded of the time we all fell in line on the Third of May
ОтветитьThe Third of May 1808 (1814) by Francisco Goya
Ответитьhorrible time in French and Spanish history. The fear and helplessness exuded by the subjects in this painting speak over the centuries.
ОтветитьWhat is that light cube???
ОтветитьGreat description..... Thank you so much
ОтветитьAbsolutely amazing
ОтветитьIn the 2nd of May 1808 , the figure stabbing the horse taking part of the revolt sure resembles the figure with his arms outstretched..also in the shadow to the far let is a faint representation of a woman with a child very Madonna with child like.. I love this painting, 3rd of May, and have been fortunate to see it in person
ОтветитьArt history has always been a fascinating subject to me. This analysis opened up a lot of things I wouldn’t have thought of. Thank you!
Ответитьhow do we know if this actually happened and Goya wassen't biased? :o
ОтветитьThank you for this excellent introduction. I'm using it for 2 of my online classes (university-level).
Ответитьhere for humanities class like it alot never knew
ОтветитьYou are brilliant, thank you, this helped my daughter immensely for her art portfolio!
ОтветитьI can't thank you enough
ОтветитьWhy am I watching this on May 2nd when the event actually happened.
ОтветитьOne detail that always struck me: none of the soldiers are looking at their victims. They're looking down, as if Goya is showing that they know what they're doing is wrong, but can't bear to see the consequences of their actions.
War makes victims of us all.
Hey :) What three 3 images that contribute to the subjective meaning of the painting? and What do you think these images stand for?
ОтветитьI love this presentation style!
ОтветитьHelpful to look at art from another view.
ОтветитьReminds me of depictions of the Boston Massacre
ОтветитьWho came here from redo of healer reference?
Ответитьyou’re a literal godsend this helps so much
Ответить(My son has noticed) Stigmata - Goya's figure has it in only one hand...Is that an implication of Jesus' superiority ?
ОтветитьExcellent video
ОтветитьThis is the video I needed! Beautiful and clear! Thanx!
Ответитьexcellent art analysis

Ответитьiloveyou hashley :)
ОтветитьI just began viwing art as a hobby and this is very helpful.. "a picture tells a thousand words" is true.
ОтветитьNothing compares to Goya.
ОтветитьThank you for the historical analysis
ОтветитьCan someone explain the half hidden box in front of the firing squad?
