Does he resemble Obama or have I had too much wine?

Every woman in that audience is thinking what they'd name the kids she and Dexter would have. I'm being polite.

Nobody's has commented his speech before playing the tune. Please consider this was played before 1969. "How's the world treating you ?", "you haven't changed a bit" and "you lovely has ever" were very sarcastic of course.

Most if not all jazz sax players work hard to find a unique saxophone sound. After 25 years, I’m still trying to come close to Dexter’s sound.

Tone isn't too good, a bit hard and his tuning is a bit shakey, some notes are flat, maybe he had a bad day? Solo was nothing special.

He had amazing subtlety. A true master. I remember I first learned of him when I saw the film ``Round Midnight'' in college in 1986. Beautiful film, and I am grateful that it got me started on jazz!

IMO the strongest period for Dexter was the early-mid 60's overseas. Just perfection, never a wasted note.

Just got hooked on this tune and this version is just great! I love dexter especially on ballads.I realy dig the fact he knows the lyrics, that’s an important tool to have when improvising with a real meaning.many players today learn tunes without ever listening to them sung or at all and even play them wrong sometimes.
