They have even provided social welfare for them but yet, just look at them. What a disgrace. When you even go to south africa, you see many of them there too, it is same thing. What a shame.

I know the DTES well. To be clear, many of these people are drug addicts but they need to find a better solution for helping them. I doubt true homeless people who lost their homes would want to live in this area. But I have never had an issue in this area. There has to be a better solution for drug dependency. I hope they find it before it worsens.

This is just a small part of downtown Vancouver... Which has always been the go to place for drugs. Right at the corner of Hastings and main by the old library. I lived down there for 5 years and this only a very small part of the downtown core. It's definitely not the "Real Canada" or" Real Vancouver" as this person states. The title is just click bait.
