Great video and appreciate your view and insights, however, I disagree with your final assessment. I don’t have the Z Fold 2 yet but I have had time with one and I find it be a game changer in the way the initial iPhone was but not in the same way. The initial iPhone revolutionized the current phone industry as we know it today and this device can have the same impact albeit for those tech enthusiast and those looking for a true “Phablet” experience. Thanks again for the insight and well thought out video! Definitely a fan!

3. You like smaller phones. Smaller than regular, small phones.
4. You wish you had the Galaxy Z Fold 2 back.

I love my Z. Its multitask ability is useful. My only worry is the durability over time. I have no clue if it will hold up for 2 to 3 years, but I do hope so.

For the last few videos this dude is just complaining about every device just negative. I don't think he realizes how negative he has become.

People also had to adjust when touch screen phones first came out. I love my z fold 2.

Nice phone. But I love my note10 +. And as long as my note10 + keeps getting the software updates. There's no reason to switch. Even when they stop giving my phone updates I'm still gonna keep it. Unless samsung make a phone with a 4k front screen. Then maybe.

Samsung has done amazing work, this device is going to increase productivity at work and help people enjoy entertainment on the go as well...best combo.

When using camera does your fold 2 gets warm? I am encountering my fold 2 getting war! When using camera, specially when making video.

Keep in mind that this review comes from someone who tests out many and many other devices! So it's a lot easier for him to say that he doesn't need it. Unlike me who,on the other hand upgrades phone every 3+ years so I'll love this device!!!

You are paying for a phone and a tablet combined. Apple doesnt want this. They want you to buy both and they focus on seamless integration between them. For me, I would rather pay $2000 for 1 device than $1000 for 2. We need both in our lives.

Worse thing to spend $2000 on. I would buy a flagship with better camera and tab 7 instead. I would also be annoyed by that line deviding the big screen.

Yes, it’s very valuable to me. Especially when I whip it out, people drool over it and to see their face is worth every penny.

My biggest complaint is it's not water resistant come next year this may change along with an S pen - That's when I'll be intrested...

As a systems/cloud engineer, my initial attraction to the fold 2 was for the purpose of RDP into VMs or client desktops removing the need to carry my surface pro and mobile phone. Replacing them with a LTE watch and the fold. I don't think the tech will be optimal for another generation or two.

I feel best for your eyes 👀..to small is soo bad . Only get one pair them. Mini laptop. Not bad . And yep not just a phone . Good luck out there .

It's a shame this phone is out, everything else feels like a toy, picked up a S20 Ultra felt like holding some re inforced cardboard and the iPhone 12 feels like just a thin metal sheet.

NOW smart phones are boring for sure - best phone of the year for sure, I use mine between jobs in and out of building sites and so far after 3 weeks not a single worry with durability paired with Galaxy Buds OG version it's perfect.

Quick check of notifications on the cover screen and unfolded for maps while driving and having my music open.

Everything is great exept the resolution 373ppi is not great compared to note 20 ultra and s20 ultra and other with qhd+. Cuz think about it when you watching movies with 21:9 aspect ratio you get a 6.4 inch display thats much smaller than what you get on the note 20/s20 ultra. When it comes to 16:9 movie/tvshows you get 6.8 inches while on the note20 ultra you get 5.9 inches. The z fold 2 should have better resolution it costs 2000$ even more in certain countries

I went to a major cellphone service/store today (won't mention who as I respected their honestly, (assuming they were being honest because I was talked out of purchasing the fold 2). She said her store only sold one and it was returned. Now because I can only do a bunch of assuming I am assuming they only sold one because of its price but she told me that the outer casing scratches very easily as she pointed out scratches to me. She also said the inside screen has burnout spots and scratches easy also. Can anyone tell me if they had these issues? I will appreciate any feedback. John

After some time has passed its selling for a little over $1000USD on Ebay. So my plan is to wait longer and for the Galaxy Fold Z3 to come out so the price drops on the 2. If it can drop to $600USD I will get it. And definitely put a skin on it and a case. Kind of wondering if there's a way to take off the crappy plastic screen protector and put two glass screen protectors on there 🤔🤔

As you said in the video, it seems you just don't prefer larger phones. Some people like something easy to hold and use with one hand, and others like good screen real estate and enhanced viewing experience. The latter group loves the Z Fold2

For me it’s the new experience, smart phones have been the same since it first started.

i bought a z fold 2 last month cost me only 750 which is a good price to try it out , no regrets with it a solid phone which is not as fragile as some say , case was needed but found a spigen case that protects it enough with a protector on the hinge its good to go , recommend this phone to anyone who wants more and watches alot of videos on thier phones.

I've been with the foldable for a while now since the z fold 2.. if I didn't loose it I wouldn't have upgraded it was still good with the software updates
