One of my favourites as well. It was always a shame they restricted this logo mainly to their cinema releases.
ОтветитьThe logo sound is the same as village roadshow pictures
ОтветитьAn Australian’s favorite thing to see and sound to hear at the movies.
ОтветитьMy god it's amazing to see this in such high quality. Still my favourite flying logo of all time.
ОтветитьIn cinemas operated by Village, a modified version of this logo would be played before the ads and movie trailers.
The modified logo has the same animation and music as this logo but the text below the stylised V read “Village Cinemas - A Village Roadshow Company”
1996
ОтветитьThe long version of this is/was a great way to get peoples attention before the feature starts. I really miss being a film projectionist, awesome job.
ОтветитьThis is actually the 2009 version of the Roadshow Films logo. The original version had the text "Roadshow" in a ITC Avant Garde Gothic Bold font, with a line underneath it. Underneath both the text and line, is the Village Roadshow byline, plus the logo is in a lighter tint than the one seen here. That was seen from the launch of this logo, all the way to 2009, which is when this current version of this logo was introduced. On here, the tint is darker, the word "Films" is added right next to "Roadshow", and both the line underneath the text, and the Village Roadshow byline, are gone. The CGI animation in this one, didn't change, though.
