It's a business and a social club.
ОтветитьThey are doing a lot for illegal invaders, but nothing for our own citizenry. This is because they're 501(c)3 corporations and therefore are beholden to government policies. The constitution does not require a corporate charter to be officially recognized as a church and granted tax exemption. But they went with the corporate charter because it gives personal immunity to church officials from church liabilities. Plus donations to a church that doesn't have a corporate 501(c)3 nonprofit charter are not tax deductible; which makes it much harder to get large donations.
ОтветитьI have a suggestion get yourself a job as a chemist then keep only the amount of money that you made us of teacher and give the rest to the church you get to pick the church pick one believes like you do all you need 10 to 20 people that will give like you do you bill whatever you wantinstead of taking something out of the church, put something into the church and let the church help the community rather than other churches
ОтветитьSO YOU FOUND THE CHURCHES WERE MONEY BUSINESS ONLY ! WITHOUT GETTING IN DEEPER WHAT THE CHURCHES ARE DOING AROUND THE WORLD ! BUT NOTHING ELSE ! BUT TELL US ALL WHAT WAS THE AVERAGE YOUR STUDENT HAD WHILE YOU WERE TEACHING THE CHILDREN AND PASSING GRADES TO THE NEXT LEVEL ; AND BETTER THAN OTHER TEACHERS BEFORE OR AFTER YOUR CLASS ROOMS ? NO JUDGEMENT JUST REAL QUESTION ! MY STUDENT PASSED INTO WORKING IN THE BUSINESSES I HELP TEACH THEM WHEN THEY HAD PROBLEMS PASSING THEN HAD A+ ON THE JOBS ABILITY !...
ОтветитьEven as a kid 65 years ago I thought ministers of the Methodist church was amazing that their home, food, clothing and car were all paid for by donations to the church. Their kids were looked upon by use at school as being the rich kids. The church did nothing for anyone in need. They would say so much was needed for the church upkeep. I remember collection plates were passed around but it was changed to your donations were put in envelopes with your name so the church could determine who was donating and how much.
50 years later I remember my stepdad started donating money on a yearly basis but one year he had a bad year and he donated less. He reached his bresking point when someone at the church called him asking if he knew his donation was less and if he could contribute more. That was the last my stepdad donated anything to the church.
IMHO the Bride of Christ consists of human beings filled with His Holy Spirit. Jesus said “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up.”. He wasn't referring to the Temple on the Mount. He was referring to Himself. As people of His Church, we should strive to emulate our Master. Nothing is more rewarding, and nourishing to our soul, when we begin to realize we are becoming Christ like in all our endeavors.
ОтветитьIt's about time. You could meet in your home.

ОтветитьA fact and truth brother
ОтветитьI quit my job as a chemical process engineer because they didn't deserve a guy with my intelligence, work ethic and dependability. About $150k a year in salary and benefits. When HR insisted all salary take online classes on "Respect in the Workplace for Management" and the class was at a 6th grade level at best, that was about the last straw.
So now I walk my dog, garden, shoot, reload, fish, take a nap, do chores, goof off with my wife. I gave up a lot of money, but this is the life.
Best of luck with the Sunday show! This is why I stopped bothering with churches years ago... Admittedly I'm not a Christian, but I only judge people by the content of their character - not by whether they look good and upstanding in a church; wearing masks to appease the masses... "Wolves in sheep's clothing"; that's many of them, unfortunately.
ОтветитьI am so glad this is not a description of our church! I am going to brag about what God has done in our church. to start off we tithe on our tithe, so 10% of everything we bring in goes to missionary's first before anything else. as an ex-deacon and now an elder I know how all the money is spent. We have a mission in the local woman's prison, we help with the local food pantry, a local domestic abuse shelter, we are invested in lives of the lost to seek and direct them to Christ, we planted a rural church first service was 3 weeks ago after years of effort, we are involved in rescuing the sex trafficked and much more. God is moving so we just got onboard to shovel some coal. I am proud of what God has done and the very small part we played.
My message is this look for one of many church's like ours or an even better one! If you find one don't join it unless your ready to listen to God be used by Him.
I pray you all have a blessed day and a holly tomorrow.
Hello😊😊😊😊
ОтветитьI really wish people wouldn’t paint with such a broad brush, I’ve seen small churches in my area and those around me build wheelchair ramps for people, start food banks for homeless and the poor, volunteer for seniors and senior centers, visit those on a prayer list whether they were members or just in our community. Of course we are not a mega church with bands, lights and smoke, just a organ, piano and a small choir of mostly middle aged and senior members. I too think there are many as you describe, but not all. I also think smaller churches do better because you can talk directly to the preacher not the associate of the assistant minister and further down the line.
ОтветитьThat's what really has turned me off on churches, it seems like the whole idea is lost.
ОтветитьThanks for the further perspective of you position on these matters!
ОтветитьWhat I have a hard time with is that the majority of churches don't follow the Bible, 100%. After all, it is Gods word, and when churches determine to interpret Gods word to suit their purpose, they are not a part of the body of Christ anymore. God gave us his word to live by. There is no man that can change Gods word, and yet, there are churches that do just that, including one that is one of the largest in the world. This is why in Revelation we are told that at the end time, there are those that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. One thing that churches have lost sight of is that God doesn't have a gray area. You are either saved, or you are not. You don't get a second chance after death, or after Jesus comes. If churches all went by the Bible 100%, there would be one denomination, not hundreds. In the first century, there was basically one Christian church, setup by Jesus and the disciples. Then came the dark ages, the reformation, and we ended up with the hundreds, or thousands of church denominations that we have today. To truly know Gods word, we need to forget the indoctrination from the churches, and cling to the Word of God alone. When you look at the women of Revelation, you find that they represent the churches. Women depicted as harlots are the apostate churches, and the only true church is shown as the woman clothed with the sun. Notice that there is only one woman clothed with the sun, and there are many harlots.
ОтветитьI hear you and and I agree
Ответить1 Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

ОтветитьGee, isn't it like that just about everywhere all the time!
ОтветитьYou strike me as a teacher who cares about those whom you teach. You genuinely seem to care.
ОтветитьI was taught to help the needy not the greedy.
ОтветитьWhen you find a lack of Godly leadership in your church, can either step up and say "Here I am, Lord" or you can pick up your ball and go home.
Satan loves a quitter.
The malachi thing on tithe is for old testament covenant.
ОтветитьIf you would only be honest and quit posting B.S. like your Video title suggests you could keep at least some of your self respect. Otherwise you are nothing but B.S..😐😐
ОтветитьI don't think the narrow way has smoke machines and a light show.
ОтветитьThe only church I see active and reaching out and taking care of others in my community is the local LDS. No, I am not a member but they are quietly showing others what Christianity should be.
ОтветитьI consider myself agnostic. As a child my family didn't attend any particular church, or regularly. My mother would gather us up and take us to one once in a while, and we'd also go to church functions of friends and neighbors. During that time I got curious about religion, so a quietly studied what I saw in the variety churches and religions we got exposed to. What I saw was that most different religions said the same things. They maybe said those things a bit different, or attributed the words to different people. But the message was the same. AND YET, they all opposed each other. They all claimed to be the one way, and all the others to be false. I saw, through news stories, that some parts of the world were waging war over this. Through that experience I came to view churches and religious organizations as being hypocritical. And saw that the larger they were, the worse they generally got.
Still, at the same time, I saw that in small ways, perhaps something was there. Or, perhaps, in being small, human kindness was sheltered from the corruptive influence of "big church." I've come to believe in people, but not churches, in kindness, not dogma. It's a path that works for me, and that's all I need it to be. I hope others find a way to their own path.
This is why I don't go to church! I haven't believed in the church since I was a teenager, and I am now 63.
