Start using a wine glass maybe?
ОтветитьIt’s not an Italian trick.. come on you can’t claim everything 😂
ОтветитьThis is a well studied phenomenon in fluid dynamics, it’s called Marangoni flow, and yes, you only see it in good wine
ОтветитьI thought it‘s the oily part and not the alcohol 😮 is this really correct,
ОтветитьMolise people make the best vino 😂
ОтветитьAlcohol content does not determine a good wine. 😅🤣😂
ОтветитьThanks for that😊
ОтветитьAnche noi del centro Italia facciamo cosi!!!😉🤗💯
ОтветитьThat is the glycerin in the wine
ОтветитьThey’re called legs. The streaks of wine, the more and longer the leg the better.
ОтветитьIn whiskey drinking, we call those the legs. Want long, thick legs :)
ОтветитьMa dio plevan!
ОтветитьLegs!
ОтветитьOk,ti prendo in parola. Sono una astemia del Sud.
ОтветитьIt is that simple! 😂❤
ОтветитьThe term is "oily". If you whirl the wine in a very high quality glass it would leave drops behind that look like oil.
ОтветитьThank you for the lesson
ОтветитьWith all my respect for Italians, you've got a lot of virtues, my favorite country after mine (Spain) but talking about wines... it's a theme between France&Spain..😉
ОтветитьA trick from northern Italy? Checking the legs? Wow alright
ОтветитьThere he goes drinking French wine again
ОтветитьIn the US we call them “Legs”
ОтветитьIts called the legs, they do the same thing with whisky
ОтветитьAs a Southern Italian, that's not possible. Alcohol and water form an azeotrope. Which is why distillation is required to separate the two, and multiple distillations to obtain a purer solution....but bless your husbands heart.
ОтветитьAnche nel centro Italia abbiamo questo trick!
ОтветитьWe here in france call it the legs of the wine (jambes) which the french explained to the Italians when northern italie was part of france 😂
ОтветитьChaal zutae .
ОтветитьThank you guys for bringing us along for topics on wine!! Much Love to you Both!
ОтветитьTechnically, the more "drips", the stronger the wine is.
Ответитьaka wine legs or tears of wine
ОтветитьMy sister calls them legs 😂
ОтветитьReally???? Oh, please, just taste it!
ОтветитьAlso called the tears if you wanna be more romantic
ОтветитьWe call them curtains in my country..Like they drape the side of the glass..
ОтветитьNot true for all wines. Pinot Noir can have thin legs and still be delicious.
ОтветитьThose drops are not alcohol, is is phisically not possible
Ответитьthey are called legs
in my drinking days, it meant that it was higher in alcohol or high sugar content - can be both
Myth. Not a trick. More legs means higher alcohol and/or more tannins/heavier red. It doesn't tell you anything about quality.
ОтветитьAre just a indicator of higher alcohol and residual sugar? Not really a reliable sign of a good wine.
ОтветитьThis is complete bullshit.
ОтветитьThat’s a myth. If there are “legs” it’s something to do with how the glass was cleaned, dried or not cleaned and rinsed properly. Ask a real wine maker. You’re welcome
ОтветитьI was told the legs were actually glycerin. A by-product of the fermentation process.
ОтветитьFull of crap. Never heard of that in my whole life. I either like it or i don,t.
ОтветитьHowever with French wine this doesn't work. Why? French wine is just colored water. 🤌🤌😏😉
ОтветитьFinally someone that actually explains what im actually looking for
ОтветитьWhat about a wine that is sweet and has texture. I had it years ago where the restaurant owner got very excited to serve me an old wine but I do not know what it is called. One glass with dinner and I felt as if I had three glasses of wine .it was potent. Very nice and sweet with a textured feeling in it. I was young and in my twenties and told him I did not like wine because it was bitter. He told me that I would like this glass of wine and he was right
ОтветитьIt’s called legs
ОтветитьTo me, wine is not determined by the alcohol, but the taste and the feel of it on your tongue. But I drink only 100 percent alcohol free wine.
ОтветитьWe had a tour guide in Italy tell us if the wine was less than 15% alcohol it was "Pepsi" and not to buy! 😂
ОтветитьUmm, i dont agree at all. But I love his spirit. All countries have their wives' tales and superstitions. 😂❤🎉
ОтветитьHigher alcohol % = Ready to drink now
Ответить
