I used to buy a new mouse at least once a year. Probably I scroll too much )
Thanks alot! Managed to fix my Corsair Shimitar
Ответитьwhat if I don't have a rocket science degree to be able to open this device up and perform mechanical modifications?
Ответитьi did this few months ago, it has definitely made a difference. i redid it today and back to normal. sucks that its just a bad flaw with dust/hair/fur etc getting inside and binding things up. thanks for video!
ОтветитьThank you so much
ОтветитьThis was such a great help! Thank you!!!
ОтветитьThank you so much. I have my broken scroll wheel fixed and i guess, i saved some bucks. You earned a sub, life saviour.
ОтветитьThanks a million 😂, was about heading out to get a new mouse but decided to give this a try. Fixed!!! 🎉😊
Ответитьthx man I do what you say and it's work
ОтветитьThank you so much! I already fixed two of my broken mouses, haha 👍
ОтветитьI didn't have to disassemble the scroll wheel encoder to correct the jumping up and down problem on my Microsoft wireless mouse 1000. I just inverted the board and submersed most of the encoder in a small cap filled with isopropyl alcohol and used a small hex key to spin it while submersed. I then blew it out with compressed air and repeated the process a few times.
ОтветитьJust cleaning the transducer seems to have done the trick. Thanks
Ответитьthank you so much for this
Ответитьawesome detailed explaination, thanks
ОтветитьDude.... This is the way - I fixed my Rival 650 mouse this way! I had to check out another video b/c I missed one screw during disassemble, but this video was the fix I needed ! Bending the contacts worked like a charm!
Ответитьsince my mouse has a honeycomb chasis, all I had to do was carefully blow into the side of the mouse towards where the wheel encoder was, and voila easy fix!!
ОтветитьIt worked out
Ответитьयह काम कर गया
ОтветитьFixed it, but there's no "scrolling" feeling when rotating the wheel...
ОтветитьMAN THANK U SO MUCH NOW I HAVE A WIRELESS MOUSE WITHOUT SPENDING A SINGLE PENNY!! Just fixed the wireless mouse I had stuck in 2-3 years or smth. I thought I had to buy a new one! hahaha thank you. Out of all the tutorials, this alone was the only one that worked. :)
ОтветитьI think I will buy a new mouse
ОтветитьOH MAN, OH MAN! THIS IS THE WAY!!!
Mine was a little different, but after prying apart the little black, square-rotary thing, I found there was a little dust underneath the copper contacts. I cleaned all of it with IPA, bent the contacts upwards a little bit, put the whole thing back together, and BOOM!, it works even better than a new one. No more annoying up-down-up-down scrolling.
THANK YOU SIR!
Tried this with a razor basilisk x and didn't have any luck. There are little hairs of copper on the notched scrolling disk and an embedded copper track on the encoder but cleaning the track and prying up the copper hairs farther didn't seem to do anything. What I did notice is that one of the sets of copper hairs was a little off which may have been causing the issue. Perhaps I should have removed that set.
ОтветитьGreat video! My mouse is quite different, but from your tutorial I was able to identify the 3 copper parts and clean them with rubbing alcohol to make better contact with circuitry. Works 100% now, thank you
ОтветитьThank you for this useful information. I just threw my mouse out and bought a new one :)
ОтветитьBEST EXPLANATION !!!!!!
ОтветитьIt worked like a charm, thank you so much!
Ответитьi literally did what you exactly showed me to do and it worked thank you so much, and the way you talk bro 😂😂 i love it i understood every single instructor you are the best! thank you :)
ОтветитьVery helpful, less electronic waste! I just saved my old Rapoo MT750S mouse. Scrolls like new. In addition to bending these 3 brushes I cleaned them and cleaned the surface they touch. It doesn't seem dirty but after cleaning In saw the difference. Many thanks!
Ответитьincredible! fixed it by bending it. and so smooth now. now jerkiness of the wheel while scrolling
ОтветитьPERFECT! i just fixed my ROG mouse scroll and save some money.
ОтветитьFixed my Steel Series Rival 5, thank you for making me happy today =)
ОтветитьThank you so much!!! my mouse was really hard mechanic and design but it simple to fix at the roll!! it helps so much!!
Ответитьit works although there is still a few jumping up and down when scrolling
ОтветитьThank you, thank you, thank you! This is my third mouse with the same issue (Logitech, Gigabyte and SteelSeries) and I was really angry!
ОтветитьBrilliant, thank you! This was irrigating the life out of me and was able to fix this issue in less than 20 minutes after watching this video.
Ответитьthanks man !
ОтветитьYou are the man!, it really work and its so easy and my mouse wheels work smoothly thanks so much😍😍
ОтветитьWas about to go buy a new Razer DeathAdder for the 10th time (I usually buy a new mouse every 1-2 years because of this issue). Tried this and it worked! Thanks a lot :)
ОтветитьThank you very much for this guide! Fiddly little job, but my mouse is fully functional again.
ОтветитьYou saved me 20 bucks mate. I might do something wrong since I lost the horizontal scrolling button function, but at least my vertical scroll is smooth and reliable again. Thanks!
ОтветитьThank you very much. Saved my money.
Ответитьthank you, now it works fine
ОтветитьThanks
Ответитьthank you sir, it really save my mouse too,
Ответитьthanks man it worked
ОтветитьWorked great for my Microsoft 3500 wireless. A bit tight space to work on but I managed to open the scroll and bend up of the 3 blades with a sharp knife. Had to break the upper left "hand" to open it tho. No problem using the remaining three to close the wheel scroll. Was about to discard the mouse. Very useful tutorial! A big THANKS!
ОтветитьThanks to you, my cheap mouse is as good a new!
ОтветитьExcellent, thank you so much! Please make a similar tutorial with a solution to mouse double click. As far as I know is related to the copper elements of a microswitch too.
