Monica should pay if she got promoted. That's how it works in my place
ОтветитьI can see both sides of Phoebe, Rachel, and joey; vs. the waiter
For the former, food can get pricy. Esp. with NYC sales tax, and tip.
For the latter, your tip is typically based off your bill, and going cheap would mean less tip there (although yes, some people do deviate from the "standard 15% or 20%")
They should have agreed on a place everyone could afford, other than Burger King, lol. When I was a teen a friends mom took her two precious angels shopping at a high end store. I was staying the weekend with them so I had to go along. I worked a job, was saving for college and a car. So, the angels like these really expensive $70 trendy purses. The mom says, "if you like them then I'll buy them for you." She looks at me and asks, "Dear, won't your mother buy you a nice purse?" I said, "My mom works to pay rent Mrs. b*tch." Yeah, not that last part except in my head. She bought them lots of lovely things that day. I bought myself a sandwich and a diet Pepsi for lunch and that was about it. I decided to take it as a lesson on how not to be classless if I was ever in a similar situation. True class is putting your guests/friends at ease.
ОтветитьWhat really surprised me is that despite all 6 of them being so close, they’re never aware of each other’s financial struggles.
Plus, in my opinion, since this dinner involves Monica’s promotion and Ross’s birthday, that means both Gellers should be the ones to treat all of them. Monica, in particular, should at least contribute more with regards to surprise Ross for his birthday.
This episode pissed me off.. because phoebe joey and Rachel wants them to feel bad because of their success... they worked hard to get where they are and ur so called friend wants u to feel bad.. f that..
ОтветитьRIP Matthew Perry, this is my fav Chandler's Bing scene. His timing was so spot-on and funny 😂😢
ОтветитьCannot believe Mathew left us this early but he will certainly be "Chandler" in everybody's hearts...
Ответитьmatthew :(
ОтветитьNice video I can’t believe Ross ordered the same thing as his sister Monica
ОтветитьI’ll get the cheapest meal on the menu which probably the side salad. Than when it’s time to say goodbye “ it was a honor to celebrate you tonight Monica but now I have to go home and eat” lol
ОтветитьI have used Chandler's line about a verse of killing me softly, for years. Mostly when I'm checking out at a store, or convenience store with all my stuff, RIGHT THERE in front of the cashier & they hit me with that dumb question "is that all?" Been doing it for 20 yrs.😂
ОтветитьWaiter: "I'll be right over there on the edge of my seat"
Waiters don't generally sit down while working, do they? This one does.
did anyone get a glimpse of the prices lol
ОтветитьAlways bring cash to pay your meal not to split
ОтветитьYou either have friends or just be alone n be happy... In a group all this keeps happening n lot of times you think you should speak up but you just couldn't and end up agreeing to every thing that group decides....
ОтветитьThis is so relatable many many times, when in doubt…head to the foodcourt or picnic at the park with some really good street food.
ОтветитьI had an experience like that once went to a trendy restaurant in Banff Alberta. We were a party of 5….. we almost fell off our chairs when we looked at the menu prices triple what was the norm… we had the party platter and shared.
ОтветитьI don't know 😂 if this India they Monica had to pay for everything 😂 as it's her promotion, he present idea to go for something nice place so it's her party. That's it💁
ОтветитьChandler is the sercarist king❤😂
ОтветитьWhat kind of party is this where everyone is paying for themselves ??? 😂😂😂
ОтветитьIn india if the celebration is about you then you have to pay for everyone you have invited as simple as that.
ОтветитьSee I don’t think tipping should be automatic, I wouldn’t tip a rude waiter like that
ОтветитьI never noticed, if you look at their drinks, 3 had alcohol, and 3 only water.
ОтветитьI'll have a chicken picatta and side salad.
ОтветитьWhen I was living in South Florida for 17 years, I occasionally got this kind of attitude from certain servers, specially in upscale or gourmet restaurants. I realized, servers would quickly noticed when one or more people from my group were trying to lower their order to the minimum because menu pricing was too high. There was even a few upscale restaurants with no pricing in menu. Only in America. In Europe, that would be consider rude and unpolite.
How I'd normally deal with these situations like in the video, and that was 24 years ago. Going to our server behind curtains and give them a $50 or a $100 bill, if they refused or got surprised, I'd insist and still put it in their pocket and they'd never said no. Then, suddenly service quality changed like night and day; when bill came up, I'd add a generous 30% tip to my bill. They will never forget a generous face. When I come back, I was treated like royalty. That's how you deal with those places and/or servers, of course I was making good money to be able to do that.
In my race, it's either the one who they celebrate pays or all of them pays equally. But usually in this case, Monica the one pays.
ОтветитьFamous chickens 😂
ОтветитьLisa looks incredible here...
ОтветитьIm paying for what i ate except for the person im celebrating for which i would split with everyone else there.
ОтветитьThat waiter was v rude.
ОтветитьI notice the dif of their drinks 😅
ОтветитьI'm glad I have a friend who knows my financial situation and always helps me paying half of my bill
ОтветитьCool😂😂
ОтветитьAnd this was before CovidFlation. Those $15 dishes are now $50
ОтветитьSounds like my work Christmas dinner last night
Ответитьplease someone quote any of the lines I failed to hear myself
ОтветитьCould Joey's snicker be any more unscripted?
ОтветитьMathew❤
ОтветитьThis made me laugh so much.
ОтветитьThe waiter was trying to be funny and sarcastic, until he met Chandler Bing.
ОтветитьI WISH SO MUCH that you could actually be as rude to the public as that waiter is in real life, because I would love to tell customers at my work what I really think of them without getting in trouble!
ОтветитьFamous chickens. Lol
ОтветитьIt's actually a better idea if you're going to have a celebration for someone to do family style and order of variety of dishes that everybody will like. If multiple people are paying they can chip in before and have one person handle the bill otherwise it leads to embarrassment
ОтветитьSomebody tell me episode number dammit
ОтветитьAlways wondered that why didn't monika paid on her promotion party
Ответить
