The movie is inspired by EliteProductions' "Spider-Man: Age of The Devil," but it will not be inspired by The Night Gwen Stacy Died, but in Mark Bagley's and Brian Michael Bendis' dramatic, brutal, and saddest comic arc of 2010s.
