King Kong (1933) - Kong vs. T-Rex Scene (4/10) | Movieclips

The jaw ripping and breaking was ahead of its time for ultra violence and brutality…messed up but very satisfying. Never gets old.

Not counting The Lost World (1925), this may qualify as the first EVER true kaiju fight.

This movie got me interested in practical special effects as a whole.

There were times where I'd watch and re-watch, to get an idea of how they accomplished many of the scenes in this film.

Now we see the new Kong. This movie was like a game where it has like definitive edition or remaster

Imagine how that looked back in the day!

It’s honestly not too far off that an ape would win in a battle against a reptile (maybe not a crocodile); simply because while the reptile’s got sharp teeth, the ape can GRIP.

Better than Jurassic World

one of the greatest movies of all time and the fact it took them around 20 years to make avatar I can’t imagine how long it took to make this

Just amazing to watch, even in 2023! I really appreciate this, you have to realize that what's known as "stop motion animation" was in its infancy. Fantastic entertainment for its day.
