There you go Tim.😊
I presume you have to have a colourful jacket to drive one?
ОтветитьToo clever by far (not you, the car) for its own good. I'm so glad you didn't crash when you were tempted to fiddle even more with the plethora of driver settings. It probably is good value for money especially when compared to its European equivalent, model suggestions here please. Finally, Tim has managed to escape the "circa £45k value for money car" millstone and found a "circa £65k possibly good value for money car" one.
ОтветитьHow does it compare with your MT10 from a thrill perspective.
ОтветитьThink youre right Tim to think of performance EV range in performance car range BUT if my ICE car needs filling after a fun drive it takes a few minutes. No matter how wonderfully quick an EV can charge if you can't use a powerful charger then it's fun over.
ОтветитьLove it!
ОтветитьYou should check out the Volvo EX30 twin motor performance. we love ours! £40k but an absolute rocket (3.4 to 60mph).
Ответить£65k will buy you a brand new BMW M340d X Drive Touring that you can 'recharge' with nearly 600 miles of range in less than 2 minutes and has more power/torque and pull than you will ever need on the road. I'll take that thanks.
ОтветитьIt's a fecking tank. Gimmicky PoS
ОтветитьI’d rather have the Mach-e GT for that price (or wait for the Rally). The design of the Ioniq 5 has always reminded me of the Austin Maestro and you don’t realise until you see it in real life but it’s an absolute heffa.
ОтветитьIt is a Hyundai and it costs around 80k Euros. My mind is not blown at all.
ОтветитьGreat review! You can set the star button to shortcut to the N menu 👍
ОтветитьThankyou hyundai for making an EV that appeals to people who enjoy driving, bravo 👌
ОтветитьGet mine next month, range not really important to me but having something fun to drive is, great review - my kids are still confused why I am getting a Hyundai
ОтветитьI’m an i30N owner and I’ve never liked EVs. But this is the first and only EV I’d actually consider if I was in the market for a brand new do it all car around that price range
ОтветитьFor 650hp and ten quintillion torque then its price is more than fair. Plus its a practical hatch with a 5 year warranty and all the low running costs of electric(except tyres lol)
Ответитьthe cool idea of yours is one I also had and what would frustrate me about owning this car is it got so close to the idea but failed to take that last. step and fully implement it. Sound packs recorded in binaural from various classic cars, and exact torque curve reproductions. It would be amazing. Lock it down to a corolla simulation when handing the keys to your kid. Premium OTA purchases for hagerty classic cars.
ОтветитьLovely total loss blue colored I5N.
ОтветитьI bought mine two weeks ago and love it! Imust have watched very video on it twice, then decided to buy one. I still go out to the garage every night to make sure it's not a dream.
Ответить아 진짜 재밌다 !
Ответитьit is overweight, overpriced, electric and has the shape of a brick house; this, in theory should replace the i30N but cost 2x...so, thanks but no thx.
ОтветитьYes Tim’s technicolour dream coat has returned for autumn 😂
ОтветитьHyundai Kia are killing it!!!
ОтветитьAmazing car. I'm waiting for the Ioniq 6N. Probably going to be my first electic car.
ОтветитьMy 5N arrived on 10th September. Fab. This is my 3rd EV. Replaced the launch P45 Ioniq 5 version. Thought your review very fair Tim. I think the range is fine - the excellent charging speed sorts out any waiting. Fun & hilarious best sums up the N, as you say. Keep up the good reviews.
ОтветитьA track-ready 600+ hp SUV with a child seat in the back (as shown in the video) - this exactly explains the unique character of this vehicle!
ОтветитьSpeed limit warning has a buffer you can adjust, in Germany it's 10 km/h. And then it also doesn't beep, it's only blinking in the display. So I don't bother and don't need to turn it off with a custom button (EV6 GT Germany)
Ответить아, 정말 재밌어요. 고환이 떨어져 나갔어요!😅
ОтветитьNGB- "Now gimme beans!"
ОтветитьI'm hoping to pick up one of these lightly used in a few years to replace my XC40 recharge twin
ОтветитьIt pressed many of the good buttons!
ОтветитьThank you for going through most of the custumization menus.
ОтветитьThe world's best EV until the launch of the Ioniq 6N
ОтветитьThe "gimmicks" are the only reason I would buy this car. Otherwise it's just another electric car and not at all interesting to me. Well done, Hyundai!
ОтветитьWhen @Motopoint gets in a used one. I must acquire.
ОтветитьIt goes like £65,000, but to me, it looks like it has a £25,000 interior, my Civic Hybrid is far superior inside. At the end of the day, the way it drives is what makes it worth the money.
ОтветитьKoreans created the world's first metal type .
ОтветитьCoolant change at 24k miles is quite expensive service i have heard
ОтветитьI like the liberal useage of British slang here.
"Chuck it about"
"Quibbles"
Haha haven't heard those expressions in a very long time
been driving for 2 weeks.. ive owned benz, lexus, jaguar and mini.. this is the one!!
ОтветитьGreat commentry as always
ОтветитьInterestingly, only .2 of a second quicker than the EX30 (*claimed). Weight could be a factor, but I guess the extra 200 horse is only just compensating. Not sure I like this interior, and since rhe wife has just bought herself the Volvo, I guess thats settled! 😄
Ответить오 세상에! 이거 정말 재밌어요!!! ㅎㅎㅎ
Ответить내 고환이 떨어졌어
Great review as we have come to expect. Keep up the good (irreverent) work!
How was the driving position feel wise? I like to sit low to feel the centre of gravity/weight of the car but this looks like the seats quite high? How does it feel?
Ответитьholy shit this price is insane.. amazing car though
ОтветитьBackseat is actually huge
ОтветитьHe didn't know How to switch the normal mode.
Ответить1) It's critically ugly
2) Those wheels are super stupid and will definitely bend after a couple months of driving on potholes
