Endora is aweasome, the best of the witches

Maurice was immensely powerful. But there was one witch in the series who was more powerful.

Believe it or not, the most powerful witch in the entire series was Esmeralda. She once straightened the Leaning Tower of Pisa, an object that weighs approximately 14,700 tons. (She's also the one who causes it to lean in the first place.) No one else in entire series ever showed the ability to move such an immense object.

Indeed, the only people who are responsible to send their kids to school for the very first time ever are their parents.

I always loved it when Maurice appeared in an episode.

It's silly to argue logic on a farcical 60s sitcom, but I don't buy this scene. Whatever problems Endora had with Darren and the mortal side of her granddaughter -- she never would do anything this cruel to Samantha. One of the things that made Endora and Maurice such great characters was their unshakable love for and devotion to their daughter. It kept them from being cartoon villains.

The middle witch is Estelle Winwood, she starred in old movies (born in the 1880s) and even in films with Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe. And thats not a costume- she dressed all classy and proper like that in public right up into her 100s.
