As soon as I heard what Reeves was planning to do to employers, I KNEW there was going to be a lot of suffering. There will be business closures, unemployment and businesses moving out of the UK - those that can. For the companies that stay open and working they WILL put up prices which will hurt customers! Evertime u put up the minmum wage you devalue skilled work. Companies don't increase skilled work no where near the inflation and growth and now you have unskilled low jobs catching up skilled jobs. The ones in the middle are the most stretched and most taxed.
