As far as the last one goes, I wouldn’t consider that unethical. That’s the Greater Good Theory at practice. Loss is acceptable as long as the margin outcome is greater. With 4 children sick and an unknown of how many others are sick if you take both babies off the same medicine and you guessed wrong you have killed 2 and saved 2, essentially breaking even. With the greater good theory, you kill one but save 3

That last one is less an ethical issue and more a philosophy/risk vs. rewards issue. Your options are remove one antibiotic and take 50/50 odds on saving both kids or losing both kids (on the assumption that one of two diagnosis are correct, which they might not be), and placing each child on opposite antibiotics, ensuring one survives and the other dies, only gambling on which (also assuming your diagnosis is correct). It's a difference of "All or Nothing" versus "Better than Nothing". House is a Better than Nothing type of man, while the others can't accept saving any less than everyone unless they chose wrong.

But he gets results, though.

Most people find it "unethical" because babies were being experimented but then again, if you come to think of it, what would you have done if yous have to make thad decision?
It's easy to be angry at House but one dead baby is less aggravating than ALL dead babies.
It was about the greater good, not about what's right.

surely on the 2 infants where he gave them 2 different antibiotics it would have been better to only test it on 1 of them first. Then there is a 50% chance of 1 death instead of 100% chance of 1 death

Doctors: 50/50, either both of them die or both of them live, this is ethical.
House: Guranteed save 1 child, they both have an equal chance of survival. This is unethical.

That last one is perfectly ethical? Either they condemn 4+ kids to 50/50 or 1 to die 3+ to live. Unless someone has the slightest idea then 3x1 is better than 4x0.5 unless you feel like the god gambler.
