Dude si skilled way better with ball than me but 77 pace ? Honestly he is quite slow. This just show that fifa make rankings for no name players out of the blue. I used to have 49 ranking in FIFA when i played pro like 10-12 yeara ago. They gave me speed of like 60 but in reality i was fast as hell. It was by far my best atribute i was fast and strong and it was main reason why i made it pro. I could run 100m in 11 sec and 40 yard dash in 4.70 ET. But they cannot give 85 speed to no name player because in the game he would be too good.

In the NBA there was a player called Brian Scalabrine and he was a massive meme. People didn’t take him seriously at all, but he said I’m closer to LeBron and Jordan than you are to me. Which people thought was a joke. Then he played against randoms who challenged him and absolutely destroyed them. Pro level is just different, regardless of sport.

Honestly no pro male footballer is really below a 70 rating in real life.

This video is massively misleading. A professional is context dependent, for instance Gary Neville would look embarrassingly shit here, he was so limited in every single way

There are 3 levels of players that I’ve always noticed whenever I have competed in any competition;

3rd rate players, People who are getting in the grooves of the game, and have learned the basic fundamentals of the game to beat 99% of new players.

The second rated player is someone who treats the game as a habit, waking up everyday to practice to complete in the upper echelons of the tournaments before them. They have competed in regionals every so often, and can beat the 3rd rated players 9/10 times on a sick day.

Then you have the 1st rated players, who would lose sleep over practice everyday. They compete in foreign and domestic tournaments, and figure out little nuances of the game that most will overlook. They can read their opponents as well as the game, form a niche strategy when at a disadvantage, and form muscle memory on a small maneuver that most will hardly use.

The fifa stats of these professional players have different degrees of difference for each attribute. Some are exponential to a tight difference in stats when playing on the pitch. When someone sees 50 pace and say it’s too slow, keep in mind that this pace is on par with the average speed of a fit person (15-18mph).

People who don’t play sports or don’t have experience with the sport in some way first hand don’t understand.

The worst professional football player playing for a professional team is still better than 99% of people playing the sport for fun.

Pro is just a totally different level than semi or amateur. On the other hand, you can't just see how perfect he performs without any pressure, it is a completely different story when playing in a competitive match, with real pressure on the ball, as well as countless physical contention.
