Mr. Truman. Truman liked Stalin "...I like him." Communist agent Alger Hiss, founder of United Nations, set U.S. policy. Truman was a 'pinko'. Truman hated Patton, MacArthur, and McCarthy. Sad and True. Truman gave China to the communists.

I do represent communism, and I have to say... FUCK SOVIET UNION! They did many bad things in the whole world, and they have nothing to do with communism. Poles, Post-war Germans and many other countries suffered from their retarded policy. Last communism existed in prehistoric times, and remained only in few african and s-american tribes. Love Poland, Love Communism.

Congratulation, you are the king of ignorance. Sure polish people suffered a lot under german and russian rule. Still Poland was one of the worst "revengers" after and much more before WW2. The used the concentration camps of the nazis to capture german civilians who suffered an died as the jews before AND the first progrome after WW2 was: don`t ask in POLAND. Polish people are NOT innocent because they suffered, they as a people are as guilty as russians, germans and americans.....

ok, if you don`t know yourself? Poland under the dictator Pilsudsky suppressed their minorities, from Ukrainians , Lithuanians Germans, Russians and Jews. They began wars with: Germany, Lithuania, USSR and CSR, they made all sort of ethnic cleansing from 1919-1939 and with their stubbornness and political stupitidy they were the reason for WW2. Already in 1929, they wanted to make war with demokratic Germany, but without french help they were to sneaky against Germanies 100.000 soldiers. ok?

so we did to get back our own ethnic territories, Poland after WW1 was only a little scrap around Warsaw. When Ukrainian People Republic existed for few years, its the polish minorities were repressed. You are jew so I don't take your claims serious, as long as u have no morality. Bye troll.

Its just the truth and I know it is not politically correct. I don`t want any more war, I don`t want facism ( polish or german ) but I think there is as much fault for that WW2 on polish as on german side, whereas the major reason is polish nationalism, the reasons you can read in my comment, and whatever you polemize, there is a historic truth....

1922. That was just one year after "democratic" "peaceful" Poland had attacked german territory in upper silesia against peoples law and against Versailles treaty which was nearly in every phrase against Germany. Who will honestly deny Germanys right to look for solutions against attacks from an imperialistic Poland? Even the british newspapers at that time saw poland as the biggets warmonger and the most racistic state...

If you argue like that, when is it to begin with a lawul territory? What is now Poland, was 1500 years ago gothic ( germanic ) land. 1000 years ago, parts of it was under polish rule, what the population spoke, nobody knows. In 1815 Europe gave itself the last border system every country agreed with, also Poland got its territory, not big, but enough. What the russians did, was already the beginning of a disagreement in Europe which lasts until today with the unlawful EU and the present borders.

After 5,000BC mostlyin the Oder River basin there was the culture named after the punctured variety of Linear Band pottery-Stroked Pottery culture, in Vistula River basin the Lengyel(Pole in Hungarain) & Polgar cultures. Original natives represented Linear Pottery culture.Their uniform culture survived in Poland in its original form until about 4600 BC.A settlement & cemetery of Lengyel-Polgar cultural zone, dated around or after 4600 BC, was discovered in Sleza, Wroclaw area...

Are you serious? After Congress of Vienna resolutions were signed, Russia ceased to respect them with respect to the tiny "Congress Poland", it was little more than a puppet state of the Russian Empire. In 1819, Alexander I abolished freedom of press & introduced "preemptive" censorship & resistance to Russian control. After defeat of the November Uprising its separate institutions & administrative arrangements were abolished as part of increased Russification. So were Poles "happy"?

"sudanesesap" is not paid by anyone, he/she is simply a psychotic ukrainian nitwit nationalist, probably a descendant of OUN-UPA genocidal murderers that escaped justice, who feels that he/she must spend every waking moment defending an "u-kraina" at his/her "base" in Australia from an impending attack at any moment, by distorting universally known facts which are historically "inconvenient" thus incongruent to the ukrainian campaign of "national myth-making" currently under way there.

Ukrainians will adhere to Germans as their "natural allies" since Nazis promised them an "independent ukrainian Reichskommissariat", under Nazi rule of course, haha! Both peoples have a mutually political "modus vivendi" since Dontsov, the "father of ukranian Fascism" published his own theories, as well as leading Nazi theoreticians' tenets, this of course, speaks for itself. To this day, surviving ukrainian SS & UPA men, murderers of innocent, unarmed Polish peasants, are "honored" as "heroes"

Correct, "ukrainian" SS men also aided their Nazi overlords in the murder of Polish non combatants in eastern Poland as well as participating in murder of non combatants in the "Warsaw Uprising" (1944) that well documented on paper as well as testimonials. For compelling reading: "Genocide & Rescue in Wolyn" by Prof. T. With certain documents only recently made public, the interested party may also know WHY Poland was betrayed post WWII, one reference in particular, declassified in 1995, goes a long way in explaining this political chicanery: "The Venona secrets: exposing Soviet espionage and America's traitors",(a good portion can be read on "Google Books") by H. Romerstein(a close colleague of Prof.M. Chodakiewicz)

You're welcome! Also, the little mentioned detail in history of developing events of which Marshal Pilsudski, being well-informed firstly, of German disregard & violation of signed treaties, namely in military areas.Consequently when Hitler & his regime gained power, Pilsudski could prophetically see the "writing on the wall" even suggesting a "pre-emptive" move against the nascent Nazi government with the French, which was disregarded.Imagine how history would have turned out had FR listened

@CountGrishnaak

This is absurd. This most likely arose due to Pilsudski's implicit belief that of the "twin nemeses" of Poland, DE & RU, DE was the "lesser" threat of the two. Hitler's renowned "admiration" was most likely the result of Pilsudski's leadership qualities & his "strongman" reputation. On the subject of France & the other "allies", I suppose one can sum up their steadfastness & political savvy in Hitler's statement about them at Munich(1938)

The allies sold off Poland at the Teheran conference in 1943, leaving it to the communists. There was no independence for another 45 years.

Poland should have a rich and demonstrable heritage. Endless warfare, whether self-induced or brought upon from outside sources, impoverished Poland.

Clearly, being between Russia and Germany has been devastating to Poland, just as it has been to Ukrain. It is notable, nothing was ever mentioned of the Swedish intrusion into Poland and Russia.

This is an answer to Joyce;it is a disgrace among civilized peoples, but seemingly Poles are unable to face the unpleasant truth about their national character, they apparently prefer to cherish flattering myths and blame everybody around them for their stupidity and limited powers of cognition.Their history is full of tragic and glorious teaching moments perfectly suitable for drawing modern lesson on running a prosperous country, but the rather wallow in self pity and unmanly finger pointing ad nauseam. In the long rung it gets rather tedious...
