Treasure Planet 2 was in the works with Willem Dafoe brought in to voice the antagonist, but that got scrapped and cancelled. So that led to him being in the supporting role of Gil in Finding Nemo. At least that's what I read.

Oh, maaaan. Willem is definitely one of my all-time favorites. The movie can blow, but Willem is always fun to watch. I think wow. I think Platoon might be my favorite, but the man is incapable of giving a bad performance.

I don't know what a FAN is, and if every I could call myself a "Fan" I guess it would have to be for "The Beatles". However, you have made every movie I've seen you in is enjoyable. Great experience, your extreme facial expressions.

Green Goblin talking about how sweet it is that parents can bring their children to see him on the big screen like they did when they were a kid is pretty hilarious.

I'm only sad that the only one that truly stumped him was my favorite lol

I think it's so funny how he and Robert Eggers initially took the accent so seriously, but then ended up just going with what seemed like a "cartoon" pirate accent 🤣🤣

Fun fact! Willem Dafoe joined the EDSA revolution, one of the largest peaceful rally of people to remove a dictator in power, in the Philippines. As a Filipino I can't thank him enough to be part of one of the most important chapter of our history, as well as for his contribution in the film industry. What a guy!

A man that loves the life yet hates the drama. A man that’s succumbed to the vices tied to the career like the rest.

Everybody’s a critic.
Does it matter?

Willem DaFoe is a consummate actor. He seems to LIVE it. Every time I see him, I'm struck by how Journeyman he sees his craft. A highly skilled workman. Not a high Falutin' Artisan

This guy talking about the joy and compassion of Hollywood when they have an island full of children is really freakin' funny. At least the drugs they give him are obviously good. Just in fuckin lala land with his eyeballs rolling around in his empty skull going; "Oh yes feminism democratic party of america issues" while children are getting bummed in the room behind him.

Lars Von Trier is certainly a daring director

Dogville
Dancer in the Dark
Breaking the Waves
Europa
Melancholia
Medea
Nymphomaniac
The House That Jack Built
The Element of Crime
Antichrist
etc etc
but also a director, that is likely way to daring for the current "triggered atmosphere", and anybody would be afraid of offending somebody somewhere.
Media content is having a rough time, both in cinema and games
