Join us as we survive 26 hours of traveling! We fly Air France and with United Airlines! From the United Club lounge to the E170/175, we'll show you what it's like to travel for so long and give you our honest review. Don't miss this trip report!
Come along with us as we take a long haul flight from Paris, France (CDG) to Newark, New Jersey (EWR) on an Air France A350-900. We begin our time in the Charles de Gaulle Airport leaving the Air France Lounge in Terminal 2E Hall M and making our way to our gate.
We are excited to see a spacious seat and a high end cabin when we board. After exploring the seat, taking a look at the IFE (In Flight Entertainment), having a glass of champaign and a look at the amenity kit, we are ready for take off.
Our flight today is a little over seven hours. During this time we are served a delicious lunch and have time to explore the onboard restrooms and some tome to sit back and relax.
We land at Newark International Airport in early afternoon and make our way through customs and passport control. After collecting our luggage we make our way to terminal C, find the United Lounge and wait for our final flight.
The United Lounge is big and bright with so many offerings of food and drinks. I even have the chance to grab a shower and get refreshed before we take our final flight home.
We are flying on a United E170/175 in business Class on this flight. The three hour flight was uneventful and I was able to sleep most of the way back.
After 26+ hours we have finally made it back to St. Louis, Missouri where we head to a hotel to get some much needed sleep.
It has been an amazing trip and we re so thankful and know we are so blessed to have been able to go on such a grand adventure!
