Ukraine War Enters New Phase of Escalation as Kyiv Fires UK, US-Supplied Missiles Inside Russia

The Russia-Ukraine war has entered a new phase of escalation, over a thousand days since the conflict first began. A day after Moscow confirmed that the US-supplied long-range missiles were fired inside Russia by Ukraine. Reports have claimed that the UK-supplied Storm Shadow missiles were also fired inside Russian territory. Meanwhile, the United States, Italy, Spain, and Greece "temporarily" closed embassies in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv over "potential air attack" fears. Besides, Russia has also revised its nuclear doctrine that says any massive aerial attack on Russia could trigger a nuclear response. Russia has also begun the production of nuclear-resistant mobile bomb shelters in what is being seen as a preparation for a potential nuclear fallout amid the ongoing war in Ukraine.
