I finally found an excellent source for murder mysteries. Thank you.
A lot of books may not be in my library, but with ILL I can request ones from other libraries (Montana) so I will be able to get them.
I've just started London Lovette's series. Its better than I expected
ОтветитьI've enjoyed a lot of those as well. Cozies are so fun. 👻
ОтветитьI really enjoyed Thursday Murder Club and A Death in Door County, I am hoping to find more cozy mysteries.
ОтветитьWhere to watch the show 😅
ОтветитьI have so many of the same favorites! Vera Wong is incredible 💜
ОтветитьDamn, murder mysteries really spammed in the genre. It's like the shounen of books.
ОтветитьI love the filter on the video. So cool!
ОтветитьCheck out A Haunted Bookshop Mystery Series by Cleo Coyle. There are 10 books I believe. Wonderful story of the Ghost of a 1940's Detective that died in the building and now Jack the ghost lives there.
ОтветитьHave you read "Be My Ghost" by Carol Perry? I hear it's a cozy mystery that takes place in a haunted bed and breakfast. I've been meaning to read it
Ответитьhey Leora! I love that you did a cozy mystery video!! ty! I have a cozy mystery channel and a alot of people don't know about them. It always makes me so happy when bigger channels talk about the genre. thx again
One of my favorite things today is give recs. I have a few, but when you said you like the great British bakeoff I knew i had to share with you there really is a cozy based on that show! It is paranormal. The series is called the Great Witches Baking Show...book one is The great Witches baking show. It is by Nancy Warren.
I would also recommend sense you mentioned paranormal the Pepper Martin series by Casey Daniels. Other cozies I would tell people who are knew to the genre: the cider shop series by Julie Anne Lindsey (who is Bree baker from the tea series), The Cheese shop series by Korina Moss, the noodle shop by Viivien Chien, and the Royal Spyness series (specifically on audio) if you like historical cozies.
Lady Cavendish's Christmas Caper definitely is more wintery but I think it's a great addition for late fall/early winter. The book just came out by Camille Cabrera. I really liked her last Christmas book and wanted to give it a try. Thanks for all of the helpful new additions tot the TBR!
ОтветитьAlso I’m so grateful I found your channel!! I have been so burnt out on booktok/ booktube recommending the same books over and over. Your vibe and book recommendations are immaculate!
ОтветитьThey all have the most cozy and sweet jobs😭😭💕💕
Ответить❤❤
ОтветитьSalut les secondes 6

ОтветитьI'm interning for a mystery magazine, so I'm excited to get more into this genre. Also, I'm visiting Amsterdam really soon, any bookstore or cafe recs? Or other places to visit in October in Amsterdam?
Ответить🤍🖤thanks for bookish chat and making my TBR a bit thicker 👻
ОтветитьBe my boooo👻❤🖤
ОтветитьFangs and Frenemies was such a guilty pleasure for me. It's a cozy low-fantasy mystery. I would recommend if you're looking for something easygoing to read 🤎
ОтветитьEvery time i watch your video, i always add books to my tbr list on StoryGraph. It’s a never-ending list lol but im not complaining! 🧡🍂
Ответить🎃
Ответить"Murder at the Bookstore" was ok but pretty forgettable for me.
Ответитьnot a read, but if you want sassy ghosts, old mansions, low stakes and humour.. maybe give the show Ghosts a go? :)
ОтветитьCan you tell us more about the Dutch bake off show? How can we watch it (if there are subtitles...)??
ОтветитьHi! The coupon code didn't work for Canada :(
Ответить👻👻👻
Ответитьjust what i needed!!!! thank you
Ответитьyour fall book recs are always the BEST I am seated and taking notes my tbr cannot handle it
ОтветитьI think you would love „in the company of witches“, I’m currently hearing the audiobook and like it a lot so far
ОтветитьYou’re so pretty 🧡😍
ОтветитьI really recommend Magic, Lies, & Deadly Pies if you want a witchy, cozy, queer murder mystery. It's just delightful! I also really loved Vera Wong ❤ Thanks for all of the recommendations!

Ответить👻🐈⬛🎃💀
ОтветитьI read the whole Bree Baker tea series. It is so good! You are spot on with the Taylor comparison😂. I'm currently reading When the Crow's Away by Auralee Wallace. It's the follow up to In the Company of Witches. (I think you read that one?) But witch vibes and fun!
ОтветитьCosy mysteries are my favourite! A more funny one is The Stranger Times (paranormal mystery with a good sense of humor)
The Thursday Murder Club has to be mentioned and of course the queen of the genre Agatha Christie ❤
Mystery has been one of my favorite genres since I was in elementary school reading Nancy Drew, so I'm def adding a few of these to my list! Some of my favorite recent ones are more YA and middle grade; the Aggie Morton: Mystery Queen series is cute and fun (my favorite so far is the second one, Murder at Owl Park), and the Jane Austen Murder Mysteries by Tirzah Price (the mysteries aren't top tier but it's so fun seeing how she reimagines the characters and the settings).
ОтветитьHave you read Lessons in Chemistry
Ответитьlove the intro!
Ответить👻
ОтветитьVera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers was genuinely so good ❤
Ответитьahh thatnk you for the recommendations! ♥️
ОтветитьIt's not a ghost cozy but Skeleton in the Family is good. They have a walking talking Skeleton.
