juliana ofr some reason while transfereing my files from lightroom to photoshop size of one layer is increased from 35mb to 250 mb is there any way to resolve it.

I cannot get the file to save back to LR. The dialogue box lists all sorts options for desktop, etc. How should I set it up to save back to LR? Thank you

Thank you for the video. I have noticed at times when I hit save it does not save it back in to Lightroom for some reason. I then have to click save as and save it on to my computer and choose a destination for the tiff such as my desktop. Then I have to import the tiff back in to Lightroom where it ends up separated from the original photos. I also have a folder of these tips on my desktop that I cannot delete because they will not be in the light room catalog. Hopefully this makes sense and I was wondering if you know a fix for it

It worked and that is great. However, my preference for changing to PSD files is now being ignored and they open in Ph as CR2 files.

I have checked my Lr preferences, which are as I left them, ie as you said, so should change my raw files to PSD files, but it ain't happening. Any suggestions, please.

big fan of your tutorials! I have lightroom 6 and am picking up PS Elements 15 very soon. Is there any reason this process would be any different since neither LR6 or PSE15 are CC, or that PS will be an "Elements" version?

I've done what you said and it doesn't work! I took pics from Lightroom and focus stack them in photoshop and did what you said and it doesn't go back to Lightroom. Don't know what to do

What if you want to edit the original image and not a copy?

When edit raw file from lr to ps, and done the work in ps, hit save, the file generated in LR takes upto 500mb, this is so ridiculous, even the raw file size is only 12mb. Can you plz advice how to setup lr or ps to decrease the size and also can keep a good photo quality?

The thing is when you pull something to photoshop you lose lots of information like the white balance... Dealing with Tiff / PSD make huge files too... Its time to really update your *** suite and add DNG support and other stuff. im forced to use LR for my job but its a real pain. Exemple : No HDR BATCH. NO BRACKETING GROUP.

Why when I try to get back into lightroom it doesn't allow me and I get a message saying disk space full. I have plenty of space in my computer. I am puzzled because I used to do this all the time.

This is not helpful at all, it's for Lightroom Classic not Lightroom CC. Unfortunatly Adone seem to use the two name interchangeably.
If you happen to be using Lightroom Classic it probably makes perfect sense, if you're using Lightroom CC (as I am) it's no help at all.

Help, if I checked the "stack with original" box, after if I delete the PSD or TIFF file back from PS , I also delete the RAW file?

Adobe is breaking their contract with the consumer!
When Adobe Fulfilled their contract with Leica they forgot they also had a contract with the customer!
Customers were allowed 2 downloads. They are not fulfilling that and are liable with a class action lawsuit.
No one is paying attention to this. Adobe has forgotten you the consumer!

Well, this is what I searched for, and it should be updated because NOTHING is the same now - not anything in the beginning and a complete waste of time for starting out. Not helpful at all.
