Did you buy it yet?
ОтветитьPeculiar continuity on the tack toward the end. Are some of the phone cameras recording in mirror image?
ОтветитьThe keel design and skeg are awesome as well as the mech room for a 50'. If I had the funds to spend this amount of money it would either be a Kraken or maybe a Bluewater 56, but the Kraken would probably win the choice.
ОтветитьHmm come here and see the price, This is not an expensive boat. Give a better check on the market before repeating things that don't make sense.
😂 Here you find Blue water "toothbrushes" that cost twice as much as that boat, if it is good? That would be a good price North Europe.
If I could afford a Kraken, He’d be THE GUY……..
ОтветитьI want to quit my job and work for this man. He is awesome!
ОтветитьI wish I had that kind of money. This thing is absolutely bonkers :)
ОтветитьMy dreamboat since hull number one splashed in
ОтветитьMassive?
ОтветитьWell said in the end... Never live above your means. 😂 Cheers! 🍻

ОтветитьI only just found your channel this morning and I must say, these are the best video(s) out there on sailing. You both are so honest with yourselves as well as your viewers on the highs AND the lows of living at sea. I’ve been contemplating sailing for many months now but have had many doubts about it until this morning, thanks to you two and, the Kraken builder, Dick. I’ve heard it before but he emphasized the point of ‘ not living your life, and then say, I wish I had done this or that’ (I paraphrased a little bit there.) It would be so easy for me to do that but, the three of you, the strength of your boat, it’s fit and finish and , all the little details and upgrades, which were awesome by the way, have truly given me the confidence to pull the plug on land lubber life and, live out a dream. Thank you both and, your beautiful little girl, for sharing your lives with us. May the Lord bless you in the next exciting chapter of your lives. Ps… I loved your boat, it was so refreshing to see a home so well taken care of and loved, without all the T & A shots for a few extra views and money from supporters. Thank you so much!
Ответитьol Dick was caught out bullshitting in another video lol
ОтветитьI love how Dick is in all the pics. Awesome. Seems like a really good guy when included in the video and loves what he does for livening.
Ответитьno one i know could ever afford a kraken ...
Ответитьbesides this being an amazing boat, the presentation kept me riveted. I usually lose interest and skip forward. i watched every second. If i ever have enough money ( dream on! ) this is what i want!
ОтветитьThe only objection I have with the vid is the multiple reference to the wife as "buddy", you are a grown man with children, pay her the respect she is more than due, use her name, an endearment she likes, whatever brings a smile to her face. Buddy is for frat reunions, bars, 99% male individuals, not the SO
ОтветитьOyster Yatchs are better
ОтветитьThey have not gone futher then anybody. They are very good but total marketing bull.
ОтветитьLet me warn you, from experience the tinted windows hide ships lights at night, many ships and small vessels turn off AIS, sit your watch at the helm with the MK1 eyeball. The in mast furling is certainly to be avoided, KISS give me slab reefing any day.
ОтветитьJust like a Leisure 17 from the 70' 🙂
Ответитьwhat an amazing boat
ОтветитьHi,
I don't usually write comments, but have you heard of Sirius Yachts?
I see so many parallels to Kraken Yachts.
If anyone wants a boat that’s been thought about properly for every aspect of being at sea as opposed to tied up on a marina this is the boat to have but listen closely to his words of wisdom
I cudnt agree more with everything he says
Brilliant remember there r no laybys or hard shoulders at sea
Love your work Dick! I wish I could give you a couple of mill. But I'll get by with a low budget 80's boat one of these days- the aussie dollar doesn't stretch too far... I might have to nick a few of your ideas for the refit though!
I really want to thank you for showing the industry what a real boat should be.
I wish Kraken every success.
What an amazing boat!!!! 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
ОтветитьKraken Yachts offers you life because it is no longer alive.
ОтветитьYou prefer a monohull as opposed to a catamaran?
ОтветитьAmazing boat. Amazing boat builder.
ОтветитьWhat a great video promoting this boat and other things. Very good job all the way around.
ОтветитьDoes the Kraken have solar and a water maker?
ОтветитьYou are a great sales person... I am impressed.
ОтветитьThe fact that Orcas cant break the keel or steering rudder and the engine room are the 2 biggest sellers in this amazing Yacht
ОтветитьWow. Those pilots were criminals. Murderers. The airline is culpable and should have discovered the incompetence much sooner.
ОтветитьKraken is one of the only builders that makes boats how they are supposed to be made. They shouldn't even be in the"production boat" category because they're built like custom high end (military quality) boats. So impressive!
ОтветитьCan you steer, tack and jib from the interior captains station?
ОтветитьPlease tell me you’re getting this boat as I’d love to see more adventures with this set up!!!! ❤️❤️
ОтветитьDelos 2.0 Aluminum Catamaran looks to be the most durable & comfortable blue water sail boat available
ОтветитьDo you need a boat bigger than a Kraken 50??? That's bonkers. You're fine in a PSC 31.
ОтветитьNice words to Dick at the end. He and the Kraken team are doing an amazing job.
ОтветитьThe skeg doesn’t seem to protect the bottom of the rudder….
ОтветитьOrca. Hold my beer.
ОтветитьSea worthiness should be everybody main concern, when it comes to buying yachts... Other boats are death traps.
ОтветитьW/that price......it better be beautifulllllll
ОтветитьPush Button sailing was invented by Hallberg Rassy many years agoo.... Kraken looks safe.. Atticus...not an bad revue or diff question to the constructor.
ОтветитьAllen Melissa Lewis Lisa Davis Christopher
ОтветитьKraken boats look great.. My one question is why would you have part of the rudder sitting below the skeg? must be for a particular reason why it's done. Can someone please explain. if you bottom out anywhere don't you want the skeg hitting and not your rudder? Looks to be Approximately 100 mm of rudder sitting out below the skeg doesn't make sense to me
ОтветитьSuch a well built boat. Definitely worth every penny. Theres no compromises in the construction of the Kraken
ОтветитьAll in all, I'd take my old Whitby 55 over this but I think I would take a Kraken 58 over my Whitby and that is the first time I have ever said that about any boat...but I don't have another 1.5 million laying around for a Kraken 58. It is refreshing to see a boat maker though making the boat the safest way possible instead of making a boat to make the most profit as possible. I really do like this guy's attitude about how to make a proper blue water boat. I still don't think it's a turn key boat. No solar. I love quiet power that will not break. Would prefer that bimini to be hard and have a full enclosure. Also, I am not a fan of all those windows. All that light bring in heat and that is a problem in the tropics, especially in rough weather and you have everything closed up and the sun is beating down on the cabin. Things can get real hot down there. I much prefer a good total enclosure cockpit where I am at the controls of the sails and the wheel and can get some airflow and can see behind me too. A fully enclosed cockpit with room to sleep for one while one is on watch is very important to me.
