🤨🤥😲 Did we just go back in time? OR did Benning actually miss filing some paper -work with the league a few years ago, and Vancouver's Sniper Swede re-entered the draft? What the ... ?????????????? This is REALLY funny! I mean, it HAS TO BE (in part, at least) an INSIDE JOKE for the management team, because what are the odds that this player would have been slotted in this position by Canucks' scouts, AND be available too, so that they were forced to take him? Astronomical! No, these guys just thought, as well, this will be SOOOOOOO funny! Good to know we have that kind of wonderful levity running the team; a very refreshing change from the dour Benning, or the paranoid Gillis.

Cameron Lund has all star potential in my opinion. I used to skate with him he is a wizard in real life on offense and is only getting better

As a Flyers fan I'm a contrarian on the DeAngelo deal. CF always overpays, but RD who can break out of the D zone, enter the O zone, run the PP helps this team. Without proof of life on Ellis, Flyers had absolutely no one with DeAngelo's skill set. Expect to see JVR and Provorov moved before the 13th. Maybe Konecny, as well. That's where the cap space for a FA will come from. Hopefully Chuck Fletcher is gone soon, but as with the Torts hire, I like this for the org either way.

You have to remember that the wings were 14 mil below the cap, a slight overpay on a goalie who could progress and make the contract look like a steal is a good short term risk
