That is a serious roster he is up against. And I love Al Pacino, but I have to say, this wasn't my favorite. He wouldn't have been my choice here, and it's not my favorite performance of his. To me, his character felt like an over exaggerated caricature. I think he's done much better work in other movies, but that's just my opinion. He is definitely one of the greats and deserves many Oscars
(I just don't think this particular role was the one)

An amazing career

I recently re-watched Scent of a Woman after many years. Al Pacino really did a masterclass performance, and was so convincing as a blind veteran. Happy he's alive and well in his mid 80's.

Sadly, Denzel Washington today is just a centrist version of Kanye West. A shame that a right wing guy like that portrayed the character of Malcolm X.

Al Pacino one of the best actors ever! His performance as Frank Slade in Scent of a Woman was amazing and emotional!
