I think the only way those air curlers will make lasting curls is if you do it while drying your hair. I watched another nail creator use one and the curls were so cute but didn't last long at all.

Next time try a heat protector w/ hold, Chi has a good one. It wont make your hair stiff. The beach waver is the absolute best electric curling iron 😍

It's designed to be used on damp hair. Using the barrels on completely dry hair will not give you the best/proper results. (ex-Dyson employee)

Works best with wet or damp hair. Best time saver ever. I love mine.

Dampish hair is best. If your hair dries fast do a quick blow through with the blow drier attachment. (I do this in chunks/sections bottom to top side to side). When my hair is toweled off and product is in I use the blow dryer attachment quickly for just a minute sometimes less in sections then chunks it out for individual curling when damp so it fully dries while on the air wrap curler. This is the o my way it will stay. Then you must cool it down before taking it out of the hair. Cool shot it until you can touch your hair and it’s not hot or warm, if this it too time consuming then pin the curl and let it cool down that way. Just cover up the layers when done so the curled chucks don’t fly away with the turbo engine in that thing.

Love my Airwrap!! I use mine on dry hair all the time and it works great. I have very fine, long hair and have to use the right products, but boy does it work! Bumble & Bumble’s surf blow dry spray is legit the shit. Gives my hair the grip it needs and doesn’t make my hair crunchy AT ALL. I also use the Kenra Professional Medium Spray #12, I think? Great combo!
