you're saying it's a leak to make wild generalizations from a minor mistake at the poker table and also in a relationship. I think.
ОтветитьThey speak Japan in Idaho.
ОтветитьI interpret this as a caution against player stereotyping. Don't make too strong inferences especially if there is limited history with a specific player.
ОтветитьDaniel have you become a philosopher? ❤❤❤ Love your videos!
ОтветитьI used to think the same way about the us vs. them post.
Then I realized it was more venting than anything.
I was definitely guilty of this early in my career. Now that I understand just how little I know, I no longe perceive small deviations as a weakness to target.
ОтветитьWhat DRUGS are you on boy???

ОтветитьI have a reg in my pool that 3-bet jams 72s vs short stack recreational players. I don't think it is really worth it since recs call off with bad stuff anyway, but it was interesting to get a glimpse of this other reg's thought process.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing such valuable information! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
ОтветитьN=1 is not the strongest evidence
Ответить“We must seek the truth” then “words are violence”
ОтветитьDan again speaks the truth. The good news if you're a poker player able to figure out and assess what opponents are really doing, a certain very non-zero percentage of them will be 100% unable to do the same, due to narcissism. Not of the "looking in the mirror" or "I'm the best" egotism/narcissism, but a genuine inability to see anything from another person's perspective, combined with utter contempt for anyone who doesn't think like the narcissist, or do what they'd do in that situation.
They say around 15% of the population has that problem, but I think it is likely higher in general, and much higher at the poker table. People who think they're right and everyone else is wrong, or at least that a lot of people are not as good, gravitate to the game.
What's funny is that a skilled non-narcissist, is actually in the catbird's seat, while less skilled narcissists think the reverse is true. Of course, there are highly skilled narcissists as well, for example someone who thought that anyone calling him with J4 must be 100% cheating. ;-) It is so fitting that the high technical skills and extremely narrow "GTO+exploit pro" mindset, did not prevent his career from being destroyed by a total lack of ability to understand people who think completely differently about poker, money, and life. Nobody wants him at their table, tapping on the fish tank, berating and accusing wealthy fish of cheating.
Truth is the silent rhythm underlying the chaos of perception, a note that resonates in the void between what is seen and what is known. It is not confined to form, yet it shapes all forms, like light that exists both as wave and particle. Truth reveals itself not through attainment but surrender, emerging when the veils of expectation dissolve.
In its essence, truth is neither fixed nor fleeting; it is a mirror reflecting the observer’s own clarity or distortion. To grasp it is to hold water in your hands—impossible, and yet your hands are wet. It whispers through paradox, exists beyond duality, and waits in the stillness of the seeker’s soul.
I got this by asking chat GPT the esoteric explanation of the truth. Seemed in alignment with what you were trying to convey.
The sponsored cut was a little harsh, try to soften in the future. I appreciate that you're the sponsor though
Very insightful video thank you!!!!
this reminds me of the psychological concept of the "fundamental attribution error" which is the tendency for people to blame the mistakes of others on character flaws, while blaming their own mistakes on bad luck or mitigating circumstances
ОтветитьWhat do you think of my assessment? Is there anything you think I missed? 🤔
