This is similar to the Sebastian Rogers case in Tennessee? Did Jonathan use an iPad, computer etc? I feel like someone online has lured Jonathan out of the house? Same with the Sebastian Rogers case, I think he was also lured out of the house. Praying for ALL

Do they know who Jonathan has been communicating with on the IPAD? Try to track to see who he has been communicating with a couple of months before he left? I believe he was Lured out of his home and kidnapped.

Can the family try to subpoena Apple for the iPad records?? He is a special needs person so there must be something the DA's office can do. Can they buy another IPAD and mimic Jonathans previous IPAD? Try contacting a Computer Hacker if at all possible.

Jonathan got lured away deom his home by an online predator. His change of routine the last night at home by wanting to sleep downstairs is alarming, why would he change his routine? He might even been coached into this behaviour by the person that took him. The secret lays in the I-Pad.

Lazy incompetent cops. Don't want to get up off their asses because he's an "adult" even though they know he's a vulnerable adult who desperately needs their help.

Can they not get the FBI involved? It's critical they retrieve the data from his IPAD. Whose privacy are they protecting. These are his parents requesting the information. That's ridiculous.

Jonathans Dad really seems like the best Dad in the world 🌎 Poor kidd, i hope he's found safe

This is heartbreaking that the police wouldn't even look into Jonathon's last ping on his IPad . It is DISGUSTING that the Father had to go to the length he did becoming his son's Advocate just to get Apple to give up the information they need to find their AUTISTIC child . It is appalling behavior of the police department, and their lack of concern for Jonathon's welfare is the reason he has not been located . I hope that there is an inquest into how the law enforcement department handles such cases and they're held accountable. My thoughts and prayers are with the Hoang Family for the safe return of Jonathon.

I'm not an American and I wonder if they should ask the FBI for help? If anyone at the sheriff's office would have a child on the autism spectrum, they would run to find it.

The fact he's asked to stay home because he's "unwell" is definitely a sign of pre-planning. It seems likely he was groomed online because he didn't have the ability to do that by himself.
The activity on the ipad is likely whoever he met stole it and was wiping it. But where the heck is he?? Someone must be able to get a location from the ipad, LE are failing these poor parents.

Oh God, this sounds just like MY son. Exactly! Jesus! At the very LEAST, why aren't they following the digital footprint?? That's where the answers are. These cops act like they couldn't give less of a crap. Shame on them!!

And NO, a kid who asks before he gets a drink of water, or like my son, forgets to drink water because their sensory inputs are not felt the same as normal people, you KNOW they aren't coming back with a beard and a family (what an idiotic statement!)

I completely understand how you have an older kid or young adult that is autistic and not capable of doing the basics to take care of themselves, yet people think they appear 'fine' if you don't live with them. This is the exact scenario i fear. If he ever walks outside and something unusual happens, i worry because he doesn't have the skills to deal with anything that isn't the routine. I hope they find their son very very soon. I can't imagine a more unbearable pain.😢💔🫂

an issue i have with police & vulnerable folks like Jonathan is they rarely listen or comprehend the facts. if you tell the cops, for instance, they are nonverbal they'll go ahead and insist that they verbally ID themselves! and get angered when they don't! it's called a spectrum for a reason. they may be over 18 but that doesn't translate as it does for your average person. the list is endless. it was very frustrating as a residential counselor trying to get help for any missing clients. law enforcement need even a lousy 2 week course to understand the basics

I wonder if Jonathan wasn't tricked by someone via some game he played on his Ipad? And this predator coached him what to say to his parents and not? Makes me so angry that Apple doesn't want to help them! But if he left his phone at home can't u use his phone to track his Ipad? I really hope he is found safe.

Johnathan had the forethought ability to say he wasn’t feeling well and to get permission to stay home from school the next day. Where are all the neighbors security cameras ? Who drove in to neighborhood ,or walked in?

In regards to Jessica Kemp, why was she camping by herself? Is this something she normally did?

Why do people think Camping is safe? If you bother locking your car or house or are aware of your safety, why would you believe you are safe "Camping". Camping is Gambling. It's always a risk that the people nearby are safe. It's putting a nylon zipper as your protection for your life.

Fingers crossed for Jonathan's family. So, many freaks out there. We can't contain and control them. Hugs to all the people worried about their missing loved ones.

This is not always simple, because compliance is necessary, but we need to try and have our vulnerable family members, ASD, elderly, etc. with a medical bracelet and 911 information and or a smart bracelet, watch, tag or other that can be pinged from an app. Also to allow LE and medical facilities to access their necessary information.
