Got a 2000 Eton beamer on CL for $100. Guy delivered it for $35 Xtra. Very good quality scooter. Happy it's not from gyna. Peep muh channel you can see and hear it. Worked on it for months.
ОтветитьScooters are saving me hundreds of $$ a month in car insurance and fuel costs. That alone is worthy of a trophy.
ОтветитьI have a 2007 Sym HD200 with over 50k miles on it running strong. I bought it second hand and had to replace hoses (I added an inline fuel filter and wanted clear fuel lines), belts (CVT about every 15-20k miles), and water pump (liquid cooled). The other thing I had to do was modify the side kick stand (some other guy had a video on it) because it would collapse making the bike fall. Highly recommend the brand and my advice to most is buy a used Japanese or Taiwanese scooters as they are well built and will last, the only other ones I'd consider is Genuine Buddy and Lifan, haven't owned them personally but know others who had and they are quality.
PS: sorry about your Piaggio experience, I've met a few riders in the past and they had nothing but great things to say about them
PSS: Agreed about your 50cc scooters, they're rolling death traps imho and should only be illegal or only ridden by the most paranoid and alert of riders, at least here in the USA.
I still have my 2014 150cc Peace Sports and never have any issues.
You are stupid!!!!
Chinese scooter blow , I bought 3 because the first one ran for 12k miles and only needed a clutch , the next 2 , the belts snap every 2k miles even when u get a good belt , also the exhaust has snapped off on both and the rear shocks on both bent , the price is right cause I can get them new for 1200 that includes shipping and asembly( and u want to pay for assembly even if u know how , unassemblef u risk not getting all the parts )
Ответить"It's still made in China, but it's still better than the Chinese scooters" Scratching my head LOL! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! "They're a safe bet, but they all cost 2-3 times as much" Uhm... enough said.
ОтветитьI bought a 2007 Vespa GTS New old stock in 2009 still have it today, no problems just regular oil changes, speedo cable broke a few years in that's it
ОтветитьPiaggio is not chinese scooter,
ОтветитьFor all the money you spent buying and repairing junk scooters you could have bought a new Honda PCX 😂😂😂
ОтветитьIs vespa any better tho..
ОтветитьI'm going Piaggio 150 Liberty!
ОтветитьHave you tried the Chinese EFI 200 cc scooters like the Capri are the Clash ?
Ответитьidk, my X-PRO 50cc scooter is pretty good, easily hit 35 MPH going up a hill and up to 50 MPH on level terrain.
ОтветитьHave good experience with Chinese scooters😊 the problem is probably not the scooters it's more likely you 😂
ОтветитьJust bought my first moped, and I've got to say it seems like people have a lot less issues with moped than scooters. Granted a lot of mopeds are two stroke so they are inherently more reliable than a four stroke with a lot more going on.
ОтветитьMade it china says it all.
My Jonway yy250t is the worst vehicle I have ever owned, and I'm former ASE mechanic.
I'm going to buy a Venom Roma direct-hate stealerships like you-I plan to be my own mechanic.
ОтветитьI’ve owned many scooters over the years my advice is stay away from Chinese and European scooters, buy Yamaha Suzuki or Honda,
ОтветитьI have a jiajue transpro 50cc. I broke down 3 times.and it sucks.
Ответитьi had some sym scooters nothing but trouble you lucky
ОтветитьOnce you fix some wiring skyteam is pretty good too
ОтветитьIf the scoot is actually made in Taiwan, it's going to be a better quality unit. Their manufacturing practices are more on par with Japanese companies. But Taiwan does job out some of the manufacturing to China. And China is well known for crap metallurgy and throw away products. Those made in China bolts at the hardware store that break off under normal installation torque....yea....guess what they use on their scooters. But you are cheap and didn't want to spend money on a unit that uses higher quality metallurgy. It's cheap for a reason. The cheaper models will undoubtedly be jobbed out to China. Even Honda and Yamaha have stuff made in China. But they pay more attention to the quality of the parts going into them. Better parts, better oversight, better quality, higher price. I think Vespa and Aprilia are the only two that avoid China altogether. If you buy a cheapo scoot, your DIY mechanical skills better be up to date.
ОтветитьI just bought a 2023 Wolf 🐺 EX-150 sport about 2 months ago and have been pleasantly surprised so far, they are Chinese but have strict American quality control standards and tech support. The scooter is self seems to be solid I take it upon myself to tighten bolts once a week just because that's what you have to do with the scooters, all scooters, I've just been breaking in the engine until I get to 300 mi which I'm almost at before I open it up, I've talked to several owners that said they've topped out at 75 I got it up to 60 the other day and had plenty to that 75 doesn't seem unreasonable I'm just waiting to do my 300 mi tune up. The only issue I had is that it was idling too low and that was a simple carb adjustment and has been fine since. Is very stylish, nice rims, nice fat tires, has a nice sleek gauge cluster with tachometer and speedometer. I actually thought about checking back in 6 months to give the verdict but I just realized this video is 3 years old so maybe some other video another time frame.
Ответитьin the netherlands it is very common to see kymcos and syms. they seem to share the exact same frames with generic chinese brands however. so i doubt their quality is any better. it is also very common to see vespa look-a-likes here, they last long enough because everyone has them, including me
ОтветитьThank you.
Ответитьi had a gmw i sold put 14000 miles on it shockingly mine was good and now i have a baccio 150 with 6,300 on it
ОтветитьThis was a very well made and informative video. Thank you for doing it. A few years back I purchased (online) a new white BMS Palazzo 150 cc scooter. It looked great but it seldom ran right. Yes, it too, was a piece of junk. I paid about $1200.00 for it, worked on it all the time, never felt safe on it, then sold it for $100.00 just to get it out of my sight. Kymco USA headquarters is 50 miles from where I live, but in these times, that are having trouble getting scooters (from Taiwan) into the USA. I'm going to fork over the money and buy a name brand Jap Scooter or either a Kymco or Sym. My advice would be to pay the extra money up front if you are not mechanically inclined like me. Thank you again for this video.
ОтветитьYou paid less for your 150 than I paid for my 50.
ОтветитьYou buy a claped out pos and you wonder why you have issues Quit buying used up junkers and buy new already
Ответить>>>PUT YOUR FUCKING HANDS IN YOUR POCKETS,SHUT YOU YAP, TAKE YOUR PILLS, & GO TO BED !
ОтветитьTaiwan is not the same as the rest of China.
ОтветитьMy uncle bought a sym jet in 2001 and rode it for about 3500 km. Then it stod stil in his garage for 18 years. Now I own it and have not had eny problems whit it, have rode it for about 2000 km now. (I know my English is broken😅)
ОтветитьYou sound like somebody just wants to bitch
ОтветитьWhat are you bitching about you buy a brand new carburetor for Chinese scooter for 25 bucks come on what do you expect dollar for a dollar they're a good scooter
ОтветитьSome Chinese scooters are more expensive than harleys ...i do like my honda ruckus though
ОтветитьI WISHD ID HAD SOME DAY CHINESE SCOOTER I WOULD LOVE TO FIX IT
ОтветитьMine is a 2017 TCS dycon 50cc with 11,000 miles on it. This Chinese bike is a trooper. I have upgraded some things but no major issues. Also it doesn't matter what the scooter is. Most have the same gy6 engine.
ОтветитьTake the bus
ОтветитьGod bless yamaha
ОтветитьLinhai makes good scooters
ОтветитьMoral of story: Never trust China.
ОтветитьTAO TO IS VERY GOOD. I RIDE IT LONG TIME. KIMCO IS LIKE VESPA AND HONDA. ONLY THAT COST NOTHING.
ОтветитьLooking for info on the pizz-zazz I have one and just can't find anything on them I have the manual and parts catalog just can't find anything online !
ОтветитьI decided to bicycle instead, lost weight and passed people on these scooters lmao. I do look like a T-Rex tho lol
ОтветитьChinese scooters are made by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) and we really should not be supporting them. I have been riding Piaggio and Vespa scooters for a LONG time. Piaggio is the parent company that owns Vespa. Great scooters. Never had any problems with any of them. I have both a 2006 Vespa GT200 and a 1979 Vespa P200E. I have owned a Piaggio BV250 and a BV500. No problems. But you have to realize that when you buy an EFI scooter, ANY brand, no matter how expensive, you will eventually have seriously expensive problems with them. That's why I decided to stick with carbureted scooters. I am a mechanic and can work on those. EFI scooters have about $2000 dollars worth of complex and failure prone computer parts. Carbureted scooters have a $400 carburetor that will last forever. Your best bet if you want cheap AND dependable is get a used carbureted Japanese scooter. The new ones are high quality mechanically, but with all that electronic garbage on them, an expensive failure somewhere down the road is inevitable.
ОтветитьThanks i found this video very helpful..i am about to buy a new moped somewhere between 50cc -125cc. I was considering niu e moped but when I found out if was Chinese make i became hesitant tbh
ОтветитьI just bought the cheapest China 150 made. Vendor is DF-Moto, sold by Redfoxpowersports for 969 dollars. I have no clue who actually makes the scooter. $1,184.90 total for shipping to my door. It's called a Razor 150 (10.58hp, 10 inch wheels), and Redfox has had a video of it on their website for 7 months yet I cannot find even One video from anyone who's bought one. I'm starting to doubt it actually exists. The credit card should clear the banks by tomorrow and I'll have 30 days to get the money back if they don't deliver.
ОтветитьUhhhh....Taiwan and China are NOT the same.
ОтветитьI have 2 Chinese scooters and they work great!
