I have my plants on a north facing window and people say online that is not recieving enough light... i love in the Caribbean, the sun is always on top. Close to the ecuator means something right? Thank you for your content, great educated person. Good luck my friends. Feliz día

ОтветитьGreat job mate, I really like this format and I hope you continue 🩺 I certainly do not claim to be any sort of expert but a good friend gave me some advice many years ago that I have found to be true. Some plants will perform well for no apparent reason, be thankful and keep gardening. Some will perform badly no matter how hard you try, accept that, have a little funeral and keep gardening 😃
ОтветитьThis was amazing 😃 you know so much and i love how humble you are when you might not have an answer 😊 Everyon submitted such beautiful plants i would've feel so stupid sending a picture of my golden pothos and asking questions 😅 Everyone who sent you questions are amazing growers!!! 😃🥳 Hope one day i can reach that level

ОтветитьIn Ohio we have a saying that if you don't like the climate, wait an hour, it'll chance. We get everything from hot and humid to snow measured in feet. ( a foot is about 25cm)
ОтветитьI'm a late bloomer with house plants, learning a ton from you and all of your content! I've moved my thai, silver sword and white wizard to chunky aroid mix that I put together! I broke your too much too fast rule, after I saw you say that I said whoops 😂. Built my first moss pole tonight! Keep the great content coming!
ОтветитьWow!! Always learning soo much from your videos, Jan.

ОтветитьGreat video 🩺
ОтветитьThank you for Sharing your houseplants lovely collections beautiful video 😎😎♥♥🌹
Ответить🩺 great advice! The video was long (which I love) so it took me a couple of days to watch. 😅
ОтветитьNew Subscriber. I love the video.
ОтветитьConcerning the Alocasia and Flowers: it definitely grew that amount of flowers because you kept cutting them!
If you read up on LariAnn Garner (a famous Alocasia grower) then she mentions how the gormonal cycle of alocasia and other plants makes them produce 1-2 flowers yearly but will continue doing so until they are allowed to ripen so to say!
I think we as growers will have to accept some plants being horny once in a while 😂
🩺 Thank You as always for all your advice and opinions. I always learn from other peoples experiences and what you have to tell them. We are all dealing with plants and with plants come issues! So even though I might not have asked the question, I AM dealing with the same problems as your “patients”. Watched till the end and enjoyed every single minute. Thanks Dr SPG!! 🩺👨⚕️
ОтветитьI enjoyed this video and got a lot of useful information from other’s questions. The 12 year olds collection is COOL!
Ответитьcan you explain why my shamrock plant was beautiful bushy with lots of tiny white flowers then next morning all hanging over the side of my pot.. all wilted
ОтветитьVery interesting video! The product “Equilibrium” is made in the USA, it is somewhat like CalMag. It’s meant for aquarium owners who use reverse osmosis or distilled water to restore and maintain the mineral balance so that plants in the aquarium grow better. The product contains calcium, magnesium, manganese and potassium. The producers make a big point that the product does not contain sodium or chloride. So it’s another product for fish tanks, like fluval stratum, that indoor plant growers use. 🌱🌱🌱🌱

Ответить🩺 for engagement. Awesome as always! :) Somebody get Garrett (or Barrett?) to start his own channel!
ОтветитьAlocasia Cuprea needs more water because of the terracotta pot. I would first remove it and put it in a plastic pot and perhaps pot it up with more Tree Fern Fiber so it can hold more for longer. I know mine being indoors and setup the way I recommend here still needs more water especially as the leaf growth. It’s under 8 Barina lights too, so it loves light.
ОтветитьI add a little more Tree Fern in my Alocasia’s and water every couple of days, so I am with you on that rather than semi-hydro.
ОтветитьLots of us Ohioans! I too am from Ohio and your right our winters are tough! Love this video thank you for going for it!
ОтветитьGreat job.🩺

ОтветитьThank you so much for viewing my collection and helping me with my philodendron. Looking forward to the next video! 🩺
ОтветитьAnother great video! Look forward to following your potential semi hydro journey with alocasia.🩺
ОтветитьI really love this kind of video! You should definitely do it again. Give yourself some more credit, you definitely give some great advice
ОтветитьI learn so much from these videos!! Such great insight into so much!! Thank you for making these!
ОтветитьLove this video so much! Super valuable for beginners like me. Is it possible to do an update video on these plants in a few months time? Would love to see how they’d turn out
