As a cyclist who enjoys traffic riding a few VERY simple rules:
- Dont run red lights if you can easily stop in time
- Do I really need to say this: dont ride the wrong way
- Don't ride on the sidewalk
- Pay attention dude

Important lesson. When riding by a vehicle, make sure the driver sees you. If he doesn't, then go behind him

As a pedestrian in NYC I have to be so vigilant because of cyclists coming from any direction when it’s my turn to walk and when I’m walking on the sidewalk I’ve almost gotten hit by delivery guys on scooters whipping around corners

Why is it that most cyclists think that the rules of the road don’t apply to them. Going through red traffic lights, not yielding at stop/give-way signs, riding along the wrong side of the road against oncoming traffic, not looking behind and signalling before making a manoeuvre, undertaking vehicles, no lights when it’s dark. Then if they get knocked over by a vehicle they blame the driver of the vehicle for not seeing them!!! The rules are there for all road users, not just drivers of motor vehicles. As for these electric scooters they are death traps the way people ride them at speed along the pavements and then into the road. Don’t get me wrong I’ve seen plenty of incidents when it’s been the driver of the vehicles fault, when he/she’s not looked properly. But in the main it’s the cyclist not following the rules of the road.

I am a commuter bike not a ciclist, and most of the cyclist and another commuter bikes don't respected the traffic rules.

A great majority of these bicycle riders in this video were at fault. Disobeying traffic signals, riding against traffic, not looking. They’re looking for an accident

There should be a law that says if a cyclist or scooter is a fault, you have the right to continue on your journey with no consequence.

There are decent cyclists, and absolutely awful cyclists, some of whom don't seem to understand they are road users and are obliged to comply with road signs and traffic lights etc....

At 12.00 the scooter without lights is risking his life at that speed, but so many do it without a care in the world!

In my country, cyclist be objected to the same law/rules as car drivers ( driving on the right side, right of way etc.). A lot of cyclist don’t care. The do, what they want.

In the early 90’s with my mother that we both were riding our bikes. We were going down this one road a guy in a car honked at us. We did know he was back of us. When I was driving a group of cyclists taken up the whole lane of the road.

As a cyclist and a motorist, this video makes me hate myself.

Its the same in Britain cyclist's think they own the road they drive thru red lights and flout all the rules drivers have to obey. Makes me sick!

I drive an SUV, a mortorcycle, a bycicle and go running around my hometown... there is no sort of transportation in which I run into complete jackasses, everyone is stupid, wither they drive, ride, walk ot take the bus... all the people are numb and oblivious of their surroundings, especially hate those ones who as soon as they get out of the bus want to cross the street IN FRONT OF THE BUS!!! recently, here in my hometown on the same week two ladies put their sons to die, for doing that, they get out of the bus, pass in front of it (where they are invisible for the driver) and yeah, they hold their hands but a couple of steps in front of the children, the bus starts moving forward and runs over the children... real geniouses

Most of these accidents are avoidable if the riders would have followed the rules of the road, riding on the road in the wrong direction, on the sidewalk and not paying attention to the traffic signals is moronic.
Thankfully it’s not the majority of users, same for the motorists.

So not really accidents with bikes and scooters as much as them being unsafe.
