Recent favorite literary fiction author is Rebecca Makkai! The great believers is my favorite of her, but all four of her books are great

I swear by Scythe. It was my most random book series, I went with absolute no idea what it is and what it is about. IT WAS AMAZING so I made another like 3 people read it 😂

Harry Potter is a whole experience and I think starting in September is optimal because Hogwarts starts school September 1, which is very fun. Harry Potter movies can feel Christmas-y, but I do think the books gave more gal vibes at times. So excited.

Babel was a tough read for me tbh, it is a super interesting story but the middle dragged on a lot for me and it took me a long time to get through. It’s super interesting though and has some super powerful and meaningful messages in it

I love The Poppy War so much. Just keep in mind that it’s an incredibly heavy book based on the Sino-Japanese War and the Nanjing Massacre during WWII. I do hope you read it 🤍 just make sure you’re in the right headspace

One of many things I like about you is that you diversify your reading, you don't focus on one specific genre but you read from diffrent genres which is cool
