Is this sensitive enough to work on mice that are much smaller than the typical field mouse? Our mice are extremely small.

Hello... I came here to admit that I have become addicted to mouse trap videos. It took me awhile to actually work up the courage to admit it. 😬

Thank you for posting all of these videos! They are incredibly informative and entertaining. You wouldn't think it would be fun at all to watch mouse after mouse fall into buckets, but it is!! I really like your pet mice, too. I wonder if they know the minute you take them out of their cage that they're off to test another trap...lol. I also like the setting them free at the end or the wildlife getting another mouse snack. Thanks again for making Mouse Trap Mondays. 😊

I have a question though.

Have you ever had a mouse run at you and try jumping on to you? I was walking my dog one day in the summer, and a mouse on the side of the road did that to me! It took a bit of effort to get away from the little stinker!

Perhaps bolt the sides underneath the surface of the lid?
Less for mousey to grip on.
