Sitting too much?

Take a tiny break and stretch with us!

You need two blocks (or thick books) and a blanket (any blanket will do, it does not need to be a yoga blanket).

Watch the video and read the caption to follow.

This will help to stretch the front of your hips, your hemstrings and your calves. Hold at least 30 seconds each stretch.

Remember: on the first stretch you want you hip ahead of your back knee, so shift your hips forward, like I show on the video.

1⃣ Place 2 blocks in front of your mat, and 1 blanket in the middle of it (to cushion your knees, if needed);

2⃣ Kneel down on the blanket, get on your 4's;

3⃣ Step your right foot forward, making a 90 degree angle;

4⃣ Shift your hips forward, so there's space between your back knee and your hip, but keep the 90 degree angle on the front leg;

5⃣ Use the blocks to support your hands, and hold 30 seconds. Keep shifting your hips forward to get a nice amount of stretch on the front of your right hip;

6⃣ Then, extend the front leg, move the blocks closer to your hips, and fold forward slowly, any amount. Hold 30 seconds;

🔁 Repeat with the other leg. Hold the same amount of time on both sides.
