ECCE on the Music Today Festival 2017

Join ECCE, the Eugene Contemporary Chamber Ensemble, for their concert as part of the 2017 Music Today Festival!

The concert will feature three premieres, performed by students and conducted by the composers at the University of Oregon on May 6th.

"Tarot / Suite of the Major Arcana", by Joseph Vranas with text by Daniel Erburu Reardon is a song cycle for soprano and tenor on poetry inspired by the Major Arcana of the traditional Tarot deck.

"Scenes from the Poetry of Rainer Maria Rilke", by Ramsey Sadaka features a solo violin accompanied by a mixed ensemble.

"Extinction", by Stephen Medlar musically illustrates the end of human life on Earth.
