Was getting ready to shut things down and just saw your video…awesome. Love you sweetie
ОтветитьI love all the extra videos lately. I think it is definitely paying off. Your subscribers are growing!
ОтветитьReminder to eat Hummus.
ОтветитьYummy great job ❤
ОтветитьI just finished my Bible study and Bonnie text me you had a video out. Awesome, I can relax and listen to you. Revelation is a hard book to study and I need some Cait meals now.
First, Jon’s shirt is nice and his expressions when you describe the food, so cute. Second, referring the placement to the lasagna noodles like like playing Tetris is hilarious. Ya make me laugh.
South Louisiana here! Thanks for a great video! When we add garlic to the trinity, we say it’s “with the Pope” — just for funsies next time you make something with the trinity (also, eat your hummus!)
ОтветитьJust when I think it can’t get any better, the Culinary Queen 👸 strikes again! You are AMAZING. 😊 (Love your Mickey village.) I always buy Victoria marinara sauce at Costco to keep on hand. It’s our favorite, too. 😋Cait! Eat your hummus. 😂😂 Grated cheese prices are ridiculously outrageous. 🤬🤬 I like to use up the Kinder sauces on pizza. Cheeseburger pizza, bbq chicken pizza etc. (just a suggestion)
NOOO crispy edges on the lasagna!! Yup, I’m a HUGE TJ’s fan.
Well my friend, you have truly been blessed with a wonderful talent in the kitchen. 👩🍳 I give all these recipes a chef’s 🧑🍳 💋 kiss, without even trying them yet. I love watching you & Mr. Crazy Pants. 😂 You make me smile EVERY video. Have a great night. ❤❤
❤❤❤😊
ОтветитьGreat meals, very creative!! Thanks for the fresh ideas to pull me out of my rut! ( You two crack me up!!!)
ОтветитьI think I'm going to try that baked fish. I've never really liked any fish except battered, but that looked good and crispy. On the lasagna, no crispy edges here. I soak mine with sauce, as well. I've never had burrata cheese, but I'll have to try it. I like Jambalaya, but just like your Mr. Crazy Pants, I don't eat shrimp, either. Actually, that's only half true. I like one kind of shrimp, coconut fried shrimp. Great video!
ОтветитьDarn, if I had your freezers and pantry, I think I could eat for a few months. Great video!
ОтветитьI really cannot get enough of your videos. You make me laugh so much plus you give me awesome meal ideas. Love!!
ОтветитьYou don’t know how much I appreciate all these recipes, they are so helpful to me! I get in a rut and I can’t get out! I look forward to all your videos, the ideas and the fun are the best🙂
ОтветитьMaybe a big mac salad with the kinders burger sauce? Also, love the mickey village 😊
ОтветитьIt depends on if the edges are crispy because of cheese or the curled up kinda burnt ends of the noods that have a thin layer of sauce if you're lucky. I'm all in if it's the cheese but the other is no bueno. STAGE FIVE KLINGERS! JOHN I AM WITH YOU MAN! LAUGH OUT LOUD!
ОтветитьI will be happy to eat all the crispy edges of your lasagna. But I like them crispy from cheese, not crispy from crunchy noodles. Someone (maybe Jan Chapin) said you should soak the boil noodles instead of actually boiling them. They aren’t as slippery but they have the better texture of the traditional lasagna noodles.
Also, last week I was wandering around Trader Joe’s and Costco and in my head I was saying “oooh Cait said that’s good” and “eww Cait said that is trash”. So basically I was blaming John for all the stuff I bought! 😂
Thanks for the Sunday night laugh, Cait! I love your anti-haul videos because they force me to also be productive and think outside the box, too.
Hope your family is staying safe from Helene!
We are in the middle of a freezer/fridge/pantry clean out as well!
We just brought in all the frozen food from the garage freezer. I write down all of the meats we have and what's in the pantry. Every Sunday we sit together and make up the weekly dinner menu.
It does save a lot on the grocery bill, especially this time of the year coming close to the holidays. It's also the time that I do a lot of crock pot cooking. Soups, chowders and chili. And then I freeze in silicone molds and then use the food saver to vacuum seal them. And those last us practically all winter long. I love a good clean out and I get excited too 😂
(Sorry for the rambling! I just word vomited everywhere 🤦🏽♀️)
I'll be trying the Jambalaya, thanks!
ОтветитьHuli huli looks amazing!! Actually they all do!! When you do these anti hauls- do you go out for produce?? I always seem to need the produce (sides) to go with the anti-hauls (sigh)
ОтветитьYou and your husband made me laugh. Love your chemistry. Made me hit subscribe.
ОтветитьI use sauces to marinate or coat chicken and I have cut down greatly on the sauces we have. I have a spicy honey mustard chicken that I coat in any breadcrumbs including crackers and tortilla chips blended up. It is so easy to just soak in any combination like mayo or the burger sauce and sriracha if you like the spicy. I coat small pieces of chicken in corn starch and pan fry in oil and I ask if my family wants brown or orange stir fry. I mix hoisin and goyoza sauce and throw in water chestnuts and any veggies for brown and sweet and sour, duck sauce packets and chili sauce and pineapple juice and chunks. So easy to mix it up to make yummy meals. Corner lasagna eater here with crispy cheese please.
Ответить1. Eat the hummus 🤪
2. Can you make in n out style animal fries with the burger sauce???
Did you say shoyu?? Love it, I’m from Hawaii and never hear anyone call it shoyu anymore ☺️
ОтветитьI like crispy cheese or brownie edges. But not crispy noodles edges lol
ОтветитьOven ready noodles are great because they absorb flavor and moisture, so your lasagna isn't sloppy. I am heavy with the veggies and they can make it squishy.
Oh...and by the way....BJs store brand marinara is cheaper and just as good as Rao's. 4 or 5 ingredients. Frequent coupons too.
Don’t forget the hummus, queen! 😂
ОтветитьSo one of my fav bruschetta dishes I make is a flatbread with pesto topped with the bruschetta the olive jar you had on the top shelf I just slice olives and feta drizzle it in balsamic 🤤 oh my heck it’s so good
ОтветитьGive me all the crispy edges!!!! 😋
ОтветитьI do like the crispy edges of lasagna. Though mine doesn't hardly ever get them. I need to see if lasagna love is in my daughter's area she just had a baby 5 days ago.
ОтветитьLook up big mac sloppy joe amd use uour burger sauce on them
ОтветитьIll eat the crispy edges all day and burnt cheese
ОтветитьBurnt edges for me. However, I would be more than willing to share your lasagne. You take the middle and I will take the burnt edges.
You're welcome 🤣
I spy the autocrat coffee syrup at 4mins!!!
ОтветитьI too, have a favorite child by the hour! Another 10/10 video. You're spoiling us with all this content, and long content at that! Keep being amazing <3
ОтветитьHi, I’m new, first video ever, and I appreciate you jumping in with the recipes bc I always forget to look at the description(which you had time stamps! ❤). We are a crispy edge mom/dad-kids hate it. So our first recipe will be the lasagna rollups, which the kids will love and we like to try new things. Also that lemon fish recipe looked amazing! Couldn’t find that sauce in my store though 😢
ОтветитьFor the kinder sauce, use it like a binder like you did the fish meal. When it comes to lasagna pasta, you can soak it in some room temperature water and it gets the same results of it being boiled but not being breakable.
ОтветитьHi Cait. Wondering if you could link that orange spoon with the slot in the handle. I couldn't find it in your storefronts. 😊
ОтветитьI’m new to your channel and I’m excited to go back and watch some of your older videos as well as excited to see new content. Thanks
ОтветитьI just found your channel. Your banter with John is hilarious. And your one-liners, kill me. So funny. New favorite channel!
ОтветитьI really like the crispy edges but I'm not gonna fight for them.
ОтветитьLove you guys ! You guys are so hilarious and real . New favorite channel. New subbie. Love you guys banter❤
ОтветитьHave you tried the Orange chicken from Costco? I was wondering if it’s similar to Trader Joe’s?
Have you had Ramen salad? Soooo good!!
I have too say I loved how u explained the two types of lasagna noodles u had me laughing
Ответить
