Learned some nice tips from this video! But just a quick question, why do you mix in Stereo and not Mono? Mono mixing helps your overall mix sound better when played over any speakers vs Stereo that only shows the stereo landscape. I learned to always mix in Mono, because it plays well when played back on smaller speakers.

Wow, this has to be one of the most misleading videos I’ve ever seen get so much praise. People really have no idea what they are talking about it is insane!

these vocals were already pre mixed before you started mixing. You need to cop raw studio session vocals and make a vid mixing those. Trust me thats what people are dying to learn. Going straight from there recording. However, good video. I use a similar technique. but a full SSL and CLA mix down using like 80 ish mixer tracks.

you know what youre doing, but i think theres too much of high end, its too crispy, still sounds good dont get me wrong, but it loses the rawness of the vocal

The sweeping eq thing is BS because if you do that literally all strong frequencies are gonna sound ass.

For Waves plugins, when you buy your basically renting it huh? Cause when you have to update the plugin, it stops working right?
