I’m thinking of staying in Shimokitasawa on my January trip, at least for a couple of nights. You’re helping me make a good case for it!
ОтветитьAnother great video Martina! I can see how much work was involved to make a single video, thanks for always putting out amazing food and tour content!
ОтветитьI'm so excited about the King Kogi merch!!! I would be wild for a pair of King Kogi sweatpants!
Ответитьoh yay! I was kinda sad you weren't able to have shumai (sp?) last episode, so it's nice you got some this ep.!
ОтветитьI actually really enjoy that the places you bring us aren't well-treaded touristy areas. I visited Japan with my sister almost a decade ago and we went to all of the touristy places...but we also went to one ramen place under an overpass in the middle of who-knows-where. We actually went there twice during our week vacation in Japan. My favorite memory of our trip? Going to that hole-in-the-wall, mom-and-pop ramen place under the overpass! These neighborhood gems really made the vacation for me.
ОтветитьKen Leeeeeee
ОтветитьDo you think you could do a video, or just add to a video of how to order things? As an American, I know a lot of the basics when it comes to Japanese, but Im scared of ordering food like you did at the shumai place, with knowing very little Japanese.
ОтветитьAlso where did you get your pants?!
ОтветитьI would love a mocktail tour! I can't drink alcohol anymore but I miss cocktails. Any suggestions or recommendations would be awesome!
Ответитьwe love u martina😭🫶🏽
ОтветитьI love that the tours have instructions how to get there... ❤️ I've never seen that on any travel vlogs before and it's amazing! ✨
ОтветитьLawson and Famima also do take overseas bank cards at their ATMs now! Or at least the Osaka ones did. I tested this out at the end of November.
ОтветитьLoving this!
ОтветитьThese videos are always amazing. They are so fun and helpful! The videos keep getting better and better, its clear a lot of hard work and passion goes into each of these ❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьI just found your videos last night. On my first trimester feeling sick every night… watching your videos giving me some calm comforting vibes I couldn’t explain with words❤
ОтветитьIt's great to see you living your best life.
ОтветитьI will definitely get myself something from your online shop 💗
Ответитьyou are loved martina, just wanna say fam!
Ответитьあっ、久しぶりに拝見しました。日本におられたんですね。ほお~っ。映像ありがとうございます。
ОтветитьI think it’s Sangenjaya, not Sengenjaya.
Maybe gyoza is not Japanese. They are normally in Chinese restaurants (Chuka Ryoriten). And the Chinese subscribers will quickly explain even the kanji for gyoza is the same word in Chinese - so a loan word. Maybe a good comparison is saying spaghetti found in Chicago is American. It’s from Italy.
Could you add 3XL to your street wear, please?
ОтветитьAbsolutely loved this video, thank you so much Martina! 💗💕
Ответитьlove obscura
Ответитьif i eat something that hot bet i cant taste anything for 2days
Ответитьgotta love the random Mariah Carey song💗, they don't play that where I'm from ☹
ОтветитьCROD, cant resist or deny? could really order dumplings?
ОтветитьOne day I will get to Japan, and Martina your vids are exactly how I want to explore. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьDear Martina, amazing video. So fresh and funny and such lovely places you show. Thanks. It once happened to me that the bottle of water got stuck in the vending machine. By the time I was on my feet again, I realised several people were looking at me. I bet they thought I was trying to steal the bottle. Greetings from Mexico. ❤
ОтветитьI love your tours. You point out things that aren’t normally pointed out. Like street stickers, little statues hiding in the gardens, etc.
Ответить"My hand is burning as we speak, but I am doing this for you guys. Sacrifice...." Quite a sacrifice innit? Piping hot shumai !! LOL
ОтветитьThank you Martina for showing us all the hidden gems that we normally would overlook. And I really like the vibe of this video, so relaxing, soothing and informative. Also, u cracked me up when u "sang" the song in the middle of the street. U do have a sense of humor, Martina!
ОтветитьHey Martina. I just wanted to say that you've helped me build a lot of ladders! I have been watching you since the old school eat your kimchi days. I have been homeless, carless, and even foodless. But your vibe and videos helped me live and thrive through it all. So thank you so much for being such an influence on my life! I've taken everything you've said and I hope I can help just one person, just like you did with me.
ОтветитьI love you , Martina ❤️
ОтветитьAwesome Video.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьI love your videos, Martina
ОтветитьAaaah the nostalgia of Dan absolutely roasting you lol 😂
Ответитьit's that onion bit that does it for me XD
ОтветитьKinhsman
ОтветитьZain piss boy
ОтветитьBeen loving your videos Martina! My trip is November 2024. Thank you for all of it.
ОтветитьYour joy is CONTAGIOUS! This was a great video! So stoked to add these stops to my google maps. Especially the vinyl and brews place! Also, your shoes are so cute, are they comfy for long Japan walks? If so, would you mind sharing?
ОтветитьIt is very Japanese to ask the clerk "suimasen daijobudesuka" when paying with bills(◍•ᴗ•◍)
I'm surprised that your Japanese doesn't have an English-speaker's accent. very easy to hear.
I want to start off with Martina i love you and your content! I have a question because i don't know if i am wrong or crazy. It sounded like you said 'Shumai' but when you spelled it in katakana it said 'shumai' but translated it said 'shumae'. Was that included to help english speakers?
ОтветитьWhat's the name of the secondhand/ vintage/ thrift store? We will be visiting Sangenjaya tomorrow 😊
ОтветитьJust Sub’d! So glad I found you again.
ОтветитьThank you so much for adding mobility/accessibility tips! No other vlogger does this. As an avid traveller whose disability has gotten worse in recent years, it really helps give me the confidence that travel is still a possibility!
ОтветитьI eat while I walk sometimes and I can hear some Japanese saying: ohh oishii. Sometimes is not necessary to apply all moral rules. Sancha is my neighborhood by the way.
ОтветитьThese videos are so so useful, thank you so much! Also love the filming style and your energy 🤗
