Nursing homes take cards, they take the cards to recycle them by cutting off fronts and saying to glue to carstock and make new! Also make placemats to celebrate different holidays!

It's the top of a music stand not a book stand. There's a big bottom part with a long extending piece in it that the little fold out piece sticks into.

Delaware Bend is a little more than an hour north of Denton. Maybe a day trip is in store.

You can buy sisal rope and rewrap the towers scratched up parts, I've done that through the years. Home depot has roles of it. Also, a wire cat brush works miracles to clean the fur in the nap on the towers, also you can clean them with spray on/brush in carpet shampoo, then vacuum up, hope this helps.

I feel the same way about that stuff, Someone's family and history, their whole lives, best moments.......in a dumpster. It's just so sad. I am so glad you kept looking, you knew it was there too.

I feel the same about pictures like that too Kelly!! I love to look through old photos of my 98 yr old grandma and Pop and late family and love to hear the stories of what it was like back in the day and their childhoods. It is history!! ❤
