Hi, very helpful video. I have the same MA401 PCMCIA card. I am a little confused how this PCard will work with WPA2-PSK [AES] router? I thought this card only supported old WEP type encryption? Thanks for any ideas / guidance.

Thanks for the comprehensive guide. I followed to the point where the "wirelessmanager prism2.device" succesfully established a connection but "addnetinterface prism2" returns that "interface "prism2" configuration attempt timed out".
I suppose there is something wrong with the address assignment or the actual tcp/ip side of things or even the prism driver version(?) since the card seemingly connects to the router but I don't think it gets an IP.Any ideas on how I could solve this issue?I'm using a COMPAQ WL110 card.Thanks:)

I'm only just finding this now and.... They are sold out. Are there any other pcmcia wifi cards that will work with the Amiga 1200. I have 68060 blizzard card (Processor wise) I'm hoping this works with the Lucent cards.

Thanks for posting this. I got SO CLOSE! The lights on my card came on, but I get the errors:

WPA: failed to select WPA/RSN
WPA: failed for set WPA key management and encryption suites

I think that means I need to upgrade the firmware on my Compaq WL110. I'm not sure how I'm going to do so.

I don't know what I've done wrong but I have OS 3.2 and the find menu item doesn't work and Icon information also doesn't work. I ran snoopdos which shows nothing out of the ordinary. But when I run Find it says window.class is missing. Even thought I copied a new one from the install disk. I don't advise trying this if you have Amiga OS 3.2 Nothing I've tried has worked properly.

Does this still work? Was the PCMCIA card just a standard card or did it have custom firmware flashed to it?

Just copying LHA to c: doesn't work for me... I see the file in c: but calling LHA brings an error message (command not found)

After following these instructions I have to re-install Amiga OS. So careful for users with Amiga OS 3.2.1. Do not follow these instructions :-O

A great video going through it all step-by-step, however I'm facing a problem.

I recently got a Sitecom (WN-PCC-01) card and I followed everything to the letter.

However when doing the wirelessmanager command in Shell, I get the following error:

WPA: 4-Way Handshake failed - pre-shared key may be incorrect.

I entered my SSID and network password correctly but it won't connect for some reason. Any help is greatly appreciated!

So with latest firmware and software you don't need to downgrade your router?

What kind of monster uses a windowed backdrop for Workbench? ;)
