Guizhou Province, situated in southwest China, is a gorgeous resort and hidden gem. It contains four UNESCO World Natural Heritages sites including Mount Fanjingshan, Libo County and Yuntai Mountain and Chishui.

It has been picked as one of Lonely Planet's top 10 regions in the world to visit in 2020. Guizhou offers a variety of karst landscapes, lush vegetation, diverse cultures, and delicious cuisine to visitors.

Rice terraces are hilly or mountainous slopes claimed from nature for cultivation. There are several notable rice terrace areas in Guizhou, and the most famous one is the Jiabang Rice Terraces.

Guizhou boasts diverse ethnic cultures with Miao ethnic group accounting for a large proportion.

In southeast Guizhou, over 80 percent of the population in the Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture belong to ethnic minorities, among which, 43.2 percent are Miao ethnic group and 30.4 percent are Dong ethnic group.
