why do you compare vrm cooling in the cooler review, shouldn't the mobo itself came with a good vrm temps, without using additional coolers
ОтветитьThe problem with this review is the only other serious air cooler in that list is the AK400.
Ответитьi really like that they also put in a 2nd pair of clips for an additional fan. I really like that. Makes it possible to reduce the RPM on the fans, while keeping the performance at the same level. Maybe a test, if a 2nd fan has a noticable impact on the performance would be interesting. Also the waranty situation, is little bit "mehh". It does not fit the overall performance of the product. Maybe give this thing a 4 or even a 5 year waranty would fit better, and would blend it more into the top recomendation for air coolers. Thanks for the review.
ОтветитьIs it great for i9 12900k at full load?
Ответитьgreat review luke, love their coolers - always impressed me for the price. much cheaper bang for buck than some of the well known brands.
ОтветитьThe design reminds me of Scythe's Mugen 5, great review.
ОтветитьThe first time Luke said "this is a 50 pounds cooler", I thought "wow, that's a bit heavy"? Then yea, I got it, lol.
ОтветитьPhat and sexy
ОтветитьBought ak500 3 months ago, fan is very noise. Got noctua instead.
ОтветитьCan you mount it inverted ? Enough ram clearance ?
ОтветитьI am fan of deepcool
ОтветитьI’m running the DeepCool ak620 on a 5800x3d. At its hottest I seen 57 degree Celsius. At idle 25 degrees. I am running curve optimizer at -20. With 4x8 gskill 3533cl14 at 1.4volts.
Ответитьwhy no Noctua coolers?
ОтветитьThis cooler is amazing I put another fan on the other end and it's cooling a 13700k amazingly well.
ОтветитьDoes this cooler pair well with a ryzen 5900x?
ОтветитьOnly one set of fan clips😢
ОтветитьCan you compare the Dark Rock Pro 4, Phantom Spirit, Frost Commander, Peerless Assassin, D15, AK620, AG620 and any other heavy hitters you can think of, especially if they are unknown to most people? I keep seeing coolers that I NEVER hear about as I visit different manufacturers' sites.
ОтветитьHow about reviewing an AIO or air cooler from a brand that isn't always touted? Go for a substantially built one instead of the lightweights that only do well in AC with a cooler CPU.
Ответитьi have i intel i5 12600k with a corsair 150i capelix on it. but the cooler for some reason must replaced with warranty . the interval until the change is made, I thought of putting a relatively cheap air cooler. I want to buy the ak 500. what is your opinion or
you suggest something else. pc is made for gaming with 3060ti
is the fan replaceable?
Ответитьi just couldnt stand the green color for the logo. it kills the all black theme for a build
ОтветитьWill this cooler be enough for i7-8700k at 4.7ghz?
ОтветитьPlease review Scythe Kotetsu Mark 3!! It is said to be the champ in 4 heat pipe coolers category.
ОтветитьCan you compare this AK500 to ID COOLING 226XT ???
ОтветитьRight now I'm using a Deepcool AK500 Zero Dark with two of FK120's on it, in a Deepcool CK500 case it fits just well. Since in the AK500 ZD package you got a second pair of cooler mounting bracket free of charge, all you gotta do is buy one more single Deepcool FK120 cooler and fire it up. It's 100% well presented design and cooling performance. My favorite setup of all time.
ОтветитьWarranty on an air cooler doesn't really interest me. Unless you go for the super cheap options, I fail to see what could go wrong. No pump that can die, no evaporation, it's just a few heatpipes and lots of metal attached to it.
I'm currently using a 13 year old tower cooler from Alpenföhn on my 12600K and it's completely fine. The fan had to be replaced a while ago, but the cooler itself is still working and the performance isn't bad, really. I could probably use it for another 10 years if it wasn't for mounting.
It has to be substantially cheaper than an aio, it had to cool i7 or R9 to a level that provides similar factory overclocking/ out of the box speeds as an AIO. It should be either no lights or RGB, or have the ability to run the fan without the lights being powered. It has to be quiet when not under full load (so if I am working there are no distractions).
Ideally I should be able to reasonably replace the fans with another brands if they fail, or provide cheap replacement fans.
I ordered a white one of these from Scan, can't wait to install it. I didn't want to go for a dual tower so this seemed like a perfect choice!!
ОтветитьI have a AK500 on my 7700X and it does a great job. Really surprised because I got in a pinch because no Peerless assassins at MC. But it’s been great
ОтветитьOrdered one watching this
ОтветитьIs there any reason to get this over DeepCool AS500 that already exists? Maybe just case clearance?
ОтветитьI love this thing! I just bought one for my new 13600K CPU and am able to overclock it to 5.5GHz (500Mhz upgrade from stock) on all cores, and 5.7GHz when it's using 2 or less cores. :) Temps never hit above 90 degrees, and when gaming, it usually hangs around the 80s, so I am absolutely excited about my purchase. I simply do not want to get into water-cooling, so this was perfect! It is indeed MASSIVE, lol!!! Like, really huge; it's almost funny. Appreciate the video. I give this cooler 5/5!
ОтветитьIs it gonna be able to cool a 5800x3d with say 2 fans in a push pull config?
ОтветитьI will have one of these on i7 13700kf
I hope it will do the job.
But what do you guys think?
Anybody with similar confg?
I never used warranty on 100 usd below stuff.. Warranty is hassle, just basically increasing the upfront cost.
Ответитьbro do you think it can handle OC i7 11600k ?
ОтветитьSry when you are so hui warrenty by Noctua, for this price tag this is in my eyes a punch in everyones stomach, when I see buying a fan and pay at amazon for +3 years that you have then the same as Arctic. Ohhh no I was wrong when you are near Arctic, they are from 6-10 years amd even not so greedy like the Össis.
ОтветитьAs far as the warranty, I personally dont find that to be an important point. People that go the route of air cooling do it for the simplicity and reliability of it. That is to say, the only point of failure is the fan. So, in theory, you dont even need a warranty anyways, when the fan can be replaced for as little as $10 and as much as $35 (Arctic P12 or Noctua NF-A12 respectively or similar options )
Ответитьis it enough for the ryzen 5 7600x ?
ОтветитьWhat about my Ryzen 7 5800x
Will it be enough ??
great content!! I upgraded my cpu to r7 5800x3d, will this ak500 keep it below 80C while gaming/stress test?
Ответитьwill this fit in the asus tuf gt 501 case?
Ответитьcan it fanless
ОтветитьI am currently using the AK400 on Ryzen 3600,
I love mATX builds so I care about ram clearance. I will probably get the AK500 later this year for my next build when 5070 becomes available.
I suggest changing the colors of AIOs and Tower Air coolers on the graphs. Maybe blue for water and green for air.
ОтветитьI just want to get a second fan for mine.
Ответитьfor r7 5700x? which is better coolermaster ma612 or ak500?
ОтветитьBought one of these to cool a 5950X. Fan died after 3 months, replaced it with a Thermalright TL-B12, which moves more air and hopefully will last longer.
ОтветитьIn your opinion, how many degrees is the difference between this model and ag500 argb for ryzen 58600g cpu? Should I spend more money to buy ak500 or ag500 argb. Let me also say that my motherboard is asus a620mplus gaming wifi and I will not overclock the cpu and I will play without graphics.
Ответитьwhat's your top priority when looking for a new air cooler?
Ответить
