Episode 40: Disturbed Serial Killer | Israel Keyes

Who else thinks he might have killed Lindsay Baum? She just fits his profile so well. There is evidence he was in this area - he even worked under the table for a contractor with whom my baby sister worked, though she did not work closely with Keyes and only met him once - and she was snatched a few counties away.

Two things I hear over and over from people who don’t think he took Lindsey have two reasons for believing so… but the reasons are both “because this multiple murderer said he didn’t!” While Keyes, himself, indicated that he did not dump the bodies in the same state where they were killed, he seems to have done just that in both cases of which we are certain. Also on this point, the location from which Lindsey’s remains were recovered was widespread and no origin dump or burial site could ever be located; that site of origin may well be over the county line in Idaho.

The other reason given is because he said he didn’t kill children, but do we really believe that a murderer is going to be totally honest about everything? Lindsey Baum’s photos and missing persons fliers were also found on his computer.

I’m not 100% sure either way… but I’m always interested to see what other people think about it.

Also, there is no way his girlfriend at the time, Kim or whatever, doesn’t know something… just look at the requirements he made with the state in exchange for talking. He negotiated the return of her vehicle and insisted that she not be made to speak to anyone or be held liable for anything. Ho knew.

He didn't consider 12 and 14 year olds as children? I don't believe he saw dogs as innocent. I think he just didn't want to deal with them because he was either afraid of them or saw them as an obstacle to get to his victims.

Also, I heard a TON of walking above your heads in the middle of this episode. Are you guys home alone when you film this?

I read a book called American Predator about him and it is the reason I STILL check every closet/room/under beds when I get home. Thanks for another awesome episode!
