One thing that did take me out of it was this guy just never having any torches, he had the coal for it. What are you even doing if you dont have a stack of torches when out exploring.

The thing that kind of haunts me is the montage at the end. The shot of the spawn castle with the sign out front that had named it and then been changed to "hello?"...

In that ending montage it says "goodbye".

At first it’s giving BWP vibes ( the original) and near the end it evolves into TV vibes.

I really sat here and watched a passionate man explain a Minecraft horror short film for an hour. This is just as entertaining as the short film itself, and it makes me want to watch more. It actually makes me want to MAKE Minecraft horror short films myself, even though I don’t have the equipment or practice to do it.
I love coming back to nostalgic Minecraft videos, just to find more that I haven’t seen yet definitely should’ve sooner.

End is strange. But other wise it's just the reasons i stopped playing early minecraft.
And later in beta I solo played only in creative.
Modern minecraft is not THAT uncanny.

All my friend in 2009 agreed that MC is scary and terrifying experience of the game.

I enjoy watching you because we’re both adults who played Minecraft when younger. That seems to be the target audience. Nothing super kid-focused. Nothing over the top. Nostalgia without the cringe.

The ending of the video is truly horrific.

It uses all that build up to it's absolute best. The sheer panic he shows as you can hear SOMETHING trying to get into his shelter is just perfect.

It's hard finding good Minecraft horror videos that have that 1 off unique story that sucks you in.
Some are good that make it believable while a bunch others fall short.
