A little know piece of history is that 'boomers' had a "back to the land" movement going in the '70;s pretty strong. I did off grid for years. But like most paddled back toward semi-mainstream living over the years. Do it when you're young, healthy, strong and full of energy and see how far you can take it!
ОтветитьWhat car do you use to haul it around? Also, how much was it?

ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьI’m shopping campers and beginning ft lifestyle officially in October this year. Have been struggling with floor plans. Had a camper for seven years but didn’t full time and I want under 23 ft..I love your floor plan and your upgrades are awesome. Inspiring! Thank you 🤠
ОтветитьHi Catherine, just found you! Loved your video and very envious of your life style...I'm just looking into 5th wheeling myself, but found this interesting.
You manage to work remotely?
great video! thank you for sharing! By the way you are beautiful and just absolutely glowing! My boyfriend, our 5-month-old son and I are looking into buying a camper and living off grid. Although we both work online so we aren't sure how to go about that. if you have any tips or a video touching on this topic, please let me know! thanks!
ОтветитьThose huge windows in your living room area is THE BEST!
It looks open, and bright, it’s definitely extra special! 🍃🌸🐝
You had some awesome ideas and add-ons that I have included in my notes and studies for my upcoming travel trailer home. I plan to write a book soon, providing all of this information I have gleaned, to share with new trailer owners.
THANK YOU for all your suggestions and ideas!
Speaking of locks, when I worked as a RV service tech, our dealership sold 15 different brands and untold models of RV, the keys from my own trailer - a brand we didn't even sell - fit most of the locks on those other RVs.
ОтветитьHow many summers have you done full time living?
ОтветитьIf you dont have a dog and you travel by yourself. As a older woman I would tell you some breeds make perfect protectors and are good company. We have 2 queensland heelers. Very smart and protective plus they never leave your side
ОтветитьLove the addition of all the extra solar power. That's the way to go.
ОтветитьVery nice..
ОтветитьI built a 8x16 tiny home love it but now ready to go off grid. This has been helpful. How big is your toliet waste and when do you have to dump it?
Plus I’m cold do you use only your little buddy or propane heater?
How much water do you use a week?
How do you stay warm in the winter
ОтветитьCatherine that ole bathroom fan in there that was a joke wow 😂. Bet you're glad to have something much better
ОтветитьHow long can the AC run on a full battery? Quite curious
ОтветитьCatherine, could you repost the links to the solar-powered connections you got?? Appreciate it!! Love your tractor and all your videos! Well done
ОтветитьLOVE IT❤
ОтветитьWOW!!
ОтветитьGreat little trailer. You should check the weight though on a wayscale. With the upgrades and all the items you have inside, not to mention fresh water for boondocking and full gray and black j tanks when you leave..... I am sure you are over the GVWR and your CCC. Very dangerous, especially with a single axle and likely no shocks or helpers in case a leaf spring breaks.
ОтветитьI would love to know how much your RD cost.
ОтветитьFantastic
ОтветитьDo you ever carry a generator with you?
ОтветитьHow do you access water into the rv and emptying afterwards. Novice question. Thanks
ОтветитьIt seem more like a info commercial
Ppl know about storage space in RV
You say your off grid living??
Why not talk about the pro and cons
How do you charge up your batteries which normally is every 3days
Nice you have a coffee bar and storage
Are you getting paid in return for showing this RV?
Use mention the RV brand a few times
Why not show live as a off grid person
Not interested in watch your info commercial
Ive been following you for over a year now. I just want to tell you that I find you to be an inspiration. You have the perfect rig. Not to be a downer but Im 35 years old with stage 4 colon cancer and its not looking great. I put my house up for sale to get rid of the mortgage and will be building out a camp trailer as well, but I need more amenities than most could do without, because no one wants to do chemo treatments every 2 weeks with about 10 out of 14 days being the most torturous misery, without enough electricity for cooling, hot water, entertainment. And when I discovered your channel I noticed you have everything. Its amazing that you can run a TV, i think you said a fridge as well, but plus an A/C... that is beautiful. You have a great bathroom as well. And you're excellent at the decor side. I feel like its a lot more difficult to decorate a small space to feel like a larger space, and a very cozy actual home feel. So I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to make these videos. Sometimes content creators like yourself may not realize you may be helping change someones quality of life. And you and your guidance has done that for me. By the way, what is that intro song? Sounds right up my alley. I make music very similar to it. I'm on Spotify under When Mountains Move. Im not sure if you use Artlist for your stock music licensing but I am on there as well. Thank you again. Ill continue to follow as long as i have air in my lungs.
ОтветитьThanq for the video
Nice home on wheels if your healthy, I prefer a brick home, I'm EXTREMELY unsteady on my feet, I've got osteoarthritis. You don't need anything at all adding to your home.
Stay safe on your travels 🎆🎇✨🎑
Thanks so much for the tour. I just purchased a 21’ Keystone Springdale Mini and love it!
Not as spacious as your own but awesome just the same. I took notes from your upgrades and am looking forward to power and lock improvements. Looking forward to more updates and safe travels.
One other disaster I forgot to mention is forgetting to turn the water off. Everything on the sink counter can slide and turn the faucet on and flood your trailer. I made liberal use of trim to prevent this from happening.
ОтветитьShould mention the bathroom sink is cheap so be careful storing stuff underneath. Also, the refrigerator latch breaks easily. I installed a flip-latch to secure it. Don't be afraid to drill holes.
Ответитьit is a lovely unit. 1. what motivates you to be a nomad in an rv? 2. how do you make a living doing that, assuming that you must work at something and are not retired or wealthy.
ОтветитьThat’s a great little ac unit. Those are good with solar they don’t draw much. Wish all rvs came with those so you can use the whole roof for solar
ОтветитьSuch an awesome setup! I love the panoramic windows by the creek running in the back.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing! Lots of good information.
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful location!
ОтветитьFor how long can you keep the air conditioner on before it drains your batty?
ОтветитьVery nice. I am in Florida and would like to have my RV made to be off grid. Do you know where or who I can have do that?
ОтветитьHi Catherine, I love your videos! We have the exact trailer. Can you give me the link to the Maxx fan and Maxx fan cover. It looks like there are different sizes etc
ОтветитьYou have done great upgrade 💯
ОтветитьVery nice presentation! Love your amazing lifestyle!
Ответитьcall otis bedding when in need of new mattress i can make you anything any size...
ОтветитьShe must be loaded to be able to afford to pay for the gas and other stuff
ОтветитьThis is great! Your awesome too.
ОтветитьI just wonder how often you have to go for fresh water? I can see leaving the camper and rore water back to it. But how often do you have to break camp and haul the trailer to dump tanks? Nice set up though.
ОтветитьGreat trailer! Hoping to do the same in the future. Thanks for sharing 😊
ОтветитьThis is lovely!
😊 so are you, by the way: very easy on the ear, and the eye, and most importantly - down to earth!
Wow, this is one of the nicest tiny home travel trailers I’ve ever seen! You had lots of great ideas - thanks for sharing!
